Description
また、既存の連鎖端子に第二の連結片とそれに続く電線覆い板が一体に形成され、電線覆い板が第二の連結片から折り返された状態で電線覆い部材に加工され、あるいは折り返す前に電線覆い部材に加工されて基板部側に折り返される。第二の連結片の長さや覆い板の長さは電線覆い部材に応じて適宜設定可能である。

Claims (6)
- 基板部の左右両側に前側の一対の芯線圧着片と後側の一対の絶縁被覆圧着片とを有する圧着端子において、該基板部に沿う底板部と、該底板部から後向きに折り返された折り返し部とで成る電線覆い部材を備え、該折り返し部と該底板部との間の隙間に電線の芯線部が前向きに挿入され、該折り返し部が該芯線部と共に芯線圧着片で圧着されることを特徴とする防水型圧着端子。
- 前記隙間の前端両側を含む部分が電線圧着時に前記一対の芯線圧着片又は該一対の芯線圧着片の前方に続く一対の側壁で覆われることを特徴とする請求項1記載の防水型圧着端子。
- 前記折り返し部の後端部分が前記電線の芯線部から絶縁被覆部まで延長されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の防水型圧着端子。
- 前記折り返し部の後端部分が、前記一対の絶縁被覆圧着片で圧着されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の防水型圧着端子。
- 請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の防水型圧着端子の形成方法であって、連鎖端子の展開状態で、連鎖帯の一側端に第一の連結片を介して前記基板部と前記絶縁被覆圧着片と前記芯線圧着片とを形成し、該連鎖帯の他側端に第二の連結片を介して電線覆い板を形成し、該電線覆い板を該第二の連結片から該基板部に向けて折り返す前又は折り返し後に、該電線覆い板を中間部から折り返して前記電線覆い部材を得ることを特徴とする防水型圧着端子の形成方法。
- 基板部の左右両側に前側の一対の芯線圧着片と後側の一対の絶縁被覆圧着片とを有し、該基板部に沿う筒状部と、該筒状部の前部開口を覆う封止部とで成る電線覆い部材を備え、該筒状部内に電線の芯線部が前向きに挿入されて、該一対の芯線圧着片で該筒状部と共に圧着される防水型圧着端子の形成方法であって、
連鎖端子の展開状態で、連鎖帯の一側端に第一の連結片を介して前記基板部と前記絶縁被覆圧着片と前記芯線圧着片とを形成し、該連鎖帯の他側端に第二の連結片を介して電線覆い板を形成し、該電線覆い板を該第二の連結片と共に該基板部に向けて折り返す前又は折り返し後に、該電線覆い板を幅方向に屈曲させて前記筒状部を形成すると共に、該電線覆い板の先端側に前記封止部を立ち上げ形成し、又は該筒状部の先端側を潰して前記封止部とすることを特徴とする防水型圧着端子の形成方法。
