Description
焼却はよく知られ広く用いられている方法であるが、これは現在その設置費用、そして特にその高い排ガス処理費用(ダイオキシン、フラン、重金属等)のため批判を浴びている。
メタン生成は湿潤産物にのみ用いられるため、これは厳密には熱分解ガス化と同時に行う方法ではない。
第一の方法によれば、バーナーから出た燃焼ガスが循環する二重エンベロープ(envelope)を用いた密閉エンベロープ(炉)内で材料が加熱される。その低い熱交換(壁のみによる)のため、この方法は広い表面及び大きな容積を必要とする。これは、低温(400〜500℃)で行われるゆるやかな反応に有用である。この方法の問題点は、材料の温度及び混合がうまく制御されず、生産がユーザーの選択又は要求に従ってガス又はオイル生産へと切り替わることができないことである。バーナーによるガス回収のみを考慮することができる。特定の熱分解材料にとって廃棄物である大量のコークスもまた、この方法の問題点である。
別の方法によれば、熱分解される材料の、炎によって放出された高温ガスによる直接加熱が用いられる。この方法により熱伝導はより良くなるが、熱分解反応と同じ容器における燃焼は、廃棄物ガスの質を損ない(塩素含有産物の可能性)、エネルギー生産も損なう大量の酸素供給(余分の燃焼空気)を必要とする。

Claims (10)
- (a)高温にされた金属塊と混合された廃棄物の熱分解が達成される炉であって、前記廃棄物及び前記金属塊用の注入口並びに熱分解ガス用の排気口を有する前記炉と、(b)熱分解された残渣と前記金属塊を分離するシステムと、(c)新たな熱分解ガス化サイクルのために前記金属塊を再加熱するための炉とを用いるタイプの有機廃棄物の熱分解ガス化のための方法であって、前記金属塊がステンレス鋼製トロイド(2)からなることを特徴とする上記方法。
- 前記トロイド(2)がニッケル及びコバルトを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記トロイド(2)の内径が15〜100mmの間であり、外径が50〜150mmの間であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2の一項に記載の方法。
- 熱分解ガス排気口(6)が、前記熱分解が達成される炉(1)のより下部に設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記排気口(6)に、前記炉(1)内部にわずかに陰圧を生じるシステムが備わっていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記熱分解が達成される炉(1)の下部に備わっているものが、トロイド(2)及び熱分解残渣の放出速度を調節する装置(10)であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記熱分解された残渣と前記トロイド(2)を分離するシステム(11)が、前記残渣及び前記トロイド(2)を炉(1)の下部から前記トロイド(2)の再加熱を可能にする炉(9)の下部へと運ぶアルキメディアン・スクリュー(15)を有し、その間、前記熱分解された残渣が、前記スクリュー(15)の下にその相当な長さに亘って配置されたふるい(14)を通過することによって容器(17)内に回収されることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記トロイド(2)の再加熱を可能にする炉(9)が、バーナー(8)と、前記バーナー(8)を用いて再加熱された前記トロイド(2)が炉(1)上部の上方レベルへと運ばれるのを可能にするアルキメディアン・スクリュー(18)とを備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記スクリュー(18)の螺旋が、その螺旋から軸(20)を絶縁する軸ざや(21)によって前記スクリュー(18)を駆動する前記軸(20)から分離されている、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記炉(1)と、前記分離システム(11)と、前記炉(9)が、それぞれ、直角三角形の直角の辺とその斜辺を形成していて、前記炉(1)が垂直である、請求項1から9までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
