Description

Tau(τ)=−T/ln(B/A)
によって、事前選択された活性イオンの減衰定数に近似的に関連し、ここで、Tau(τ)は近似的に材料減衰定数であり、Tは、1の光学的拡大を仮定して、第1の検出器要素の中心から第2の検出器要素まで移動するのに要する秒単位での時間の量である。第1および第2の検出器要素の各々からの出力電子信号データは処理装置に引き渡され、第1の検出器要素(A)からの電子信号データ出力に対する第2の検出器要素(B)からの電子信号データ出力に由来する信号の比である測定出力電子信号の比を計算することができる。処理装置は、さらに、測定出力電子信号比の平均値を生成するために、一連の連続する画像からの測定出力電子信号比を平均化することができる。測定出力電子信号比の平均値を計算すると、貴重文書の測定した隠れ組成物の減衰定数Tauを決定し、それを真正の隠れ組成物の既知の減衰定数Tauと比較するのにより高い精度と整合性を与えることができる。
Claims (3)
- 等速度で移動する貴重文書を認証する装置であって、励起入射光を吸収し、事前選択された発光波長を有する光放射を放出する事前選択された隠れ組成物を前記貴重文書が含み、前記装置が、
励起光源によって照明される区域内の前記事前選択された隠れ組成物を励起するのに十分な強度の照明を生成する励起光源と、
オプションとして、前記照明される区域内の前記事前選択された隠れ組成物から放出された前記事前選択された発光波長をフィルタ処理する光学フィルタと、
少なくとも1つの光検出器に収容された第1の検出器要素および第2の検出器要素であり、前記第1の検出器要素が第1の時間に前記貴重文書のある区域の第1の画像を受け取り、前記第1の画像の電子信号データを出力し、前記第2の検出器要素が第2の時間に前記貴重文書の実質的に同じ区域の第2の画像を受け取り、前記第2の画像の電子信号データを出力し、前記第1および第2の画像が前記事前選択された隠れ組成物から放出された前記事前選択された発光波長の減衰時間強度に対応する、第1の検出器要素および第2の検出器要素と、
出力された前記電子信号データを収集および評価し、前記貴重文書の合格または不合格データを決定する処理装置と
を備える、装置。 - 前記光検出器が前記第1の検出器要素および前記第2の検出器要素の両方を収容するバイセル光検出器であり、前記バイセル光検出器の幅が約0.5ミリメートルから約6ミリメートルまでである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記貴重文書が前記等速度で移動される場合、前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記光放射の発光の減衰時定数の0.5倍と2倍との間にある時間に相当する距離だけオフセットされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
