Description
流体の容器として用いられるタンク2。
タンク2に接続され、流体の入口圧力(input pressure)を維持するための圧縮器3。
その内部を上記流体が流れる管4(tubing)。
その内部でキャビテーションが起こる探針5(probe)。
管4の内部に配置され、流体が探針5内に流入することを可能にするバルブ6。
管4の内部に配置され、あらかじめ決定された寸法(size)の粒子が探針5内に流入するのを防止するフィルタ7。
探針5を管4に接続する接続具8(fitting)。
探針5内を流れる流体の体積流量(volume flow rate)を測定する流量計9(flowmeter)。
泡B(bubbles)が探針5を出た後に、順次の一連の(sequential)泡Bの成長及び泡Bの崩壊の画像を取り込む画像取込ユニット10(image capturing unit)。
探針5と目標表面TS(target surface)との間の距離を調整する(adjust)位置決め組立体11(positioning assembly)。
制御・データ取得ユニット12(control and data acquisition unit)。
Claims (5)
- 流体力学的キャビテーションを治療に利用するための装置であって、
流体の容器として用いられるタンクと、
上記タンクに接続され、上記流体の入口側圧力を維持する圧縮器と、
その内部を上記流体が流れる管と、
その内部でキャビテーションが起こる探針と、
上記管の内部に配置され、上記流体が上記探針内に流入することを可能にするバルブと、
上記管の内部に配置され、あらかじめ決定された寸法の粒子が上記探針内に流入することを防止するフィルタと、
上記探針を上記管に接続する接続具と、
上記探針内を流れる上記流体の体積流量を測定する流量計と、
泡が上記探針を出た後に、順次の一連の泡の成長及び泡の崩壊の画像を取り込む画像取込ユニットと、
上記管の一方の端部に固定された細長部材と、上記細長部材と当接する加熱器と、上記加熱器に必要な電力を供給する電力供給部とを有し、上記探針と目標表面との間の距離を調整する位置決め組立体と、
上記画像取込ユニットと上記加熱器と上記電力供給部とに接続された制御・データ取得ユニットとを備えていて、
上記制御・データ取得ユニットは、上記画像取込ユニットから画像データを受け取り上記目標表面に有効な損傷を生じさせるために上記探針と上記目標表面との間に必要とされる適切な距離を決定し、上記加熱器から上記細長部材の表面の温度データを受け取り、上記温度データを用いて上記細長部材の曲り量を制御し、上記画像取込ユニットから取得された画像データに従って上記目標表面と上記探針との間の有効破壊距離を調整することを特徴とする装置。 - 上記探針が、該探針の2つの端部の間を伸びる通路を備えていて、
上記通路が、
上記流体が上記接続具を通り抜けて該通路に流入する入口側領域と、
キャビテーションの結果として形成された泡が、該通路から出て、上記目標表面に接触させられる出口側領域とを有していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 上記通路がミクロンスケール又はナノメータスケールのものであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 上記探針は、収束イオンビーム法又は電子放射法(EDM)により、上記通路をなすミクロンサイズ又はナノメータサイズの穴が穿孔されたものであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 上記細長部材は、T字形のシリコン製のストリップであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
