Claims (5)
- それぞれが入口端部と、排出端部と、内側孔とを有する複数のシリンダーライナーと、
各シリンダーライナーの前記内側孔中に配置された一対の対向ピストンと、
少なくとも1つのクランクシャフトを回転可能に支持する主ベアリングと、
前記シリンダーライナーの周囲で伸張している冷却剤通路と流体接続している潤滑剤分配ギャラリーであって、前記主ベアリングに導く入口通路を有する前記潤滑剤分配ギャラリーと、
ピストン冷却剤噴射部と流体接続する1つまたは複数のピストン冷却剤マニホルドと、
前記潤滑剤分配ギャラリーと、前記1つまたは複数のピストン冷却剤マニホルドとに接続されているポンプでくみ出される潤滑剤源と、
少なくとも1つのエンジン作動条件に応答して、ポンプでくみ出された潤滑剤を、前記1つまたは複数のピストン冷却剤マニホルドに対して送るのを選択的に遮断し、一方ではポンプでくみ出された潤滑剤を前記潤滑剤分配ギャラリーに提供する、あるいは、ポンプでくみ出された潤滑剤を1つまたは複数のピストン冷却剤マニホルドおよび前記潤滑剤分配ギャラリーに提供する制御機構と、
を有する対向ピストンエンジンを作動する方法であって、
ベアリング潤滑剤通路およびシリンダー冷却剤通路と流体接続しているエンジン中のギャラリーを通って、流入潤滑剤流を供給する工程と、
第1エンジン作動条件に応答して、前記流入潤滑剤流から、少なくとも1つのピストン冷却剤マニホルド中に潤滑剤を提供する工程と、
前記第1エンジン作動条件に応答して、前記流入潤滑剤流から、少なくとも1つのピストン冷却剤マニホルド中に潤滑剤を提供する工程は、前記条件の第1の値に応答して、前記第1ピストン冷却剤マニホルドに潤滑剤を送るのを遮断し、一方では、ポンプでくみ出された潤滑剤を前記第2ピストン冷却剤マニホルドに潤滑剤を提供する工程と、
前記条件の第1の値に応答して、前記第1ピストン冷却剤マニホルドと前記第2ピストン冷却剤マニホルドとの双方に潤滑剤を提供する工程とを含む対向ピストンエンジンを作動する方法。 - 前記第1エンジン作動条件は、流入潤滑剤流の流体圧力である請求項1に記載の対向ピストンエンジンを作動する方法。
- 第2エンジン作動条件に応答して、前記流入潤滑剤流を、冷却管を通るように偏向させる工程をさらに含む請求項1に記載の対向ピストンエンジンを作動する方法。
- 前記第1エンジン作動条件は、前記流入潤滑剤流の流体圧力であり、前記第2エンジン作動条件は、前記流入潤滑剤流の温度である請求項3に記載の対向ピストンエンジンを作動する方法。
- 前記第1エンジン作動条件に応答して、前記流入潤滑剤流から、少なくとも1つのピストン冷却剤マニホルド中に潤滑剤を提供する工程は、
前記条件の第1の値に応答して、前記シリンダーライナーの前記入口端部のピストン用のピストン冷却剤マニホルドに潤滑剤を送るのを遮断し、一方では、ポンプでくみ出された潤滑剤を、前記シリンダーライナーの前記排出端部のピストン用のピストン冷却剤マニホルドに提供する工程と、
前記条件の第2の値に応答して、双方のピストン冷却剤マニホルドに遮断された潤滑剤を提供する工程と、
を含む請求項1に記載の対向ピストンエンジンを作動する方法。
