Claims (6)
- 足部を支持する下部構成体1と、下肢に装着される上部構成体2とを足関節に相当する位置で継手5によって身体の上下方向に屈伸可能に連結した下肢継手装具であり、
前記継手5を、
短円筒状の密閉空間をその中心から周方向に仕切って扇形に形成した複数の流体室11に磁力によって粘度が変わるMR流体を封入し、下部構成体1又は上部構成体2のいずれか一方に取り付けられたステータ3と、
関節位置に設定され、且つ、前記ステータ3の中心にて回転可能に支持された軸部12及び前記軸部12から突設され、該軸部12の周囲に配置された各流体室11の中に前後に前室14と後室15を確保する仕切板13とを有するロータ4とで構成し、
前記ステータ3に特定の流体室11の前室14と後室15とを連通する連通通路17を流体室11から離して設けるとともに、ロータ4の軸部12に各流体室11の前室14同士及び後室15同士をそれぞれ連絡する連絡通路20を設け、
連通通路17の側面に電磁石25を配し、電磁石25に供給される電力に基づく磁力を調整して連通通路17を流動するMR流体の粘度を制御し、
下部構成体1と上部構成体2の回転抵抗を調整することを特徴とする下肢継手装具。 - 前記連通通路17が特定の流体室11のそれぞれ前室14と後室15とを各々誘導通路18で連絡した二つの半円形通路を連通する状態でその間に形成される帯状の通路であり、
前記電磁石25が連通通路17を取り囲む円形磁石である請求項1の下肢継手装具。 - 前記流体室11が三室に分割され、前記仕切板13がそれぞれの流体室11で60゜の範囲で回転する請求項1又は2の下肢継手装具。
- 足部を支持する下部構成体1と、下肢に装着される上部構成体2とを足関節に相当する位置で継手26によって身体の上下方向に屈伸可能に連結した下肢継手装具であり、
前記継手26を、
シリンダ室27に磁力によって粘度が変わるMR流体を封入したシリンダ28と、シリンダ室27に前後に前室29と後室30を確保して突入されるピストン31とで構成し、
シリンダ28又はピストン31の一端を関節位置に設定するとともに、シリンダ室27の前室29と後室30とを連通する連通通路36をシリンダ室27の外部に設ける他、連通通路36の側面に電磁石37を配し、電磁石37に供給される電力に基づく磁力を調整して連通通路36を流動するMR流体の粘度を制御し、
下部構成体1と上部構成体2の回転抵抗を調整することを特徴とする下肢継手装具。 - 連通通路36が中央の渡架通路39で連通されてシリンダ28の室壁35に形成され、電磁石37が渡架通路39を取り囲む方形磁石である請求項4の下肢継手装具。
- 請求項1〜5いずれかの継手装具におけるロータ4とステータ3の回転抵抗又はピストン31とシリンダ28の進退抵抗を制御する下肢継手装具の制御方法であって、
下部構成体1の裏面に荷重を検出するセンサーを取り付け、センサーの出力に応じて電磁石25,37に供給される電力を調整して前記抵抗を制御することを特徴とする下肢継手装具の制御方法。
