Description
作動角:40°、回転数:600rpm、雰囲気温度:25℃
使用したシャフトの外周面の表面粗さの条件を図2に示す。なお、S5は、S1に粉体塗装を施して製作したもので、上記のS5の表面粗さは塗装による被覆膜の表面のものである。シャフト以外のブーツや等速自在継手は、全て同仕様品である。
S1≫S2>S3>S4≒S5
この結果から次のことが分かる。Rsk<0且つRpk<1μm且つRa<1μmの条件を満たすS4,S5の摩耗量は略同じであり、この条件を満たさないが、Rsk<0且つRpk<2μm且つRa<3μmの条件を満たすS3の摩耗量はS4,S5より多い。この条件を満たさないがRsk<0且つRpk<2μm且つRa<4μmの条件を満たすS2の摩耗量はS3より多い。この条件を満たさない比較例S1はS2より著しく摩耗量が多い。

Claims (5)
- 外側継手部材と、該外側継手部材の内方に配置した内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材と前記内側継手部材との間でトルクを伝達するトルク伝達部材と、前記内側継手部材にトルク伝達可能に連結され前記外側継手部材の開口から延出したシャフトと、一端が前記外側継手部材に固定されると共に他端が前記シャフトに固定されたブーツとを備えた等速自在継手において、
前記等速自在継手がドライブシャフト用であり、
前記等速自在継手の内部に潤滑剤が封入され、
前記ブーツが、山部と該山部の相互間に設けられた谷部から構成される蛇腹状の部位を有し、
前記シャフトにおける前記内側継手部材に連結された部位と前記ブーツの他端が固定された部位との間における外周面の少なくとも一部を、Rsk<0且つRpk<2μm且つRa<4μmの表面粗さ調製部位とし、
前記表面粗さ調製部位を、前記シャフトを被覆する被覆膜の表面とし、
前記表面粗さ調製部位が、前記等速自在継手が作動角を取った場合に前記ブーツにおける前記谷部の内面が接触する部位の全てを含むことを特徴とする等速自在継手。 - 請求項1に記載の等速自在継手において、前記表面粗さ調製部位を、Rsk<0且つRpk<2μm且つRa<4μmに代えてRsk<0且つRpk<2μm且つRa<3μmとした等速自在継手。
- 請求項1に記載の等速自在継手において、前記表面粗さ調製部位を、Rsk<0且つRpk<2μm且つRa<4μmに代えてRsk<0且つRpk<1μm且つRa<1μmとした等速自在継手。
- 前記ブーツが熱可塑性ポリエステル系エラストマーから成る請求項1〜3の何れか一に記載の等速自在継手。
- 前記等速自在継手を、45°以上の作動角を取り得る固定式等速自在継手とした請求項1〜4の何れか一に記載の等速自在継手。
