Claims (14)
- ハニカムフィルタの製造に使用する装置であって、
ハニカムフィルタの基材を固定するためのワーク固定部と、
そのワーク固定部の一の側に配設され、加圧気体を用いて粉体を気流に乗せて搬送する粉体搬送部と、
その粉体搬送部と前記ワーク固定部の間に設けられた閉じていない空間であり、前記粉体搬送部から気流に乗って搬送された粉体を他の気体と更に混合して前記装置使用時に前記ワーク固定部に固定される基材へ導入する導入部と、
前記ワーク固定部の他の側に配設され、吸引手段を用いて、前記ワーク固定部の他の側を前記ワーク固定部の一の側に対して減圧にして、前記ワーク固定部に固定される基材を通過した気体を吸引する吸引部と、
を有するハニカムフィルタ製造装置。 - 前記粉体搬送部が、加圧気体を用いた粉体分散手段を備える請求項1に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記粉体分散手段は、エジェクタである請求項2に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記エジェクタは、粉体を気流によって吸引し、加圧気体とともに粉体を排出して、気体中へ分散する請求項3に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記エジェクタにおける粉体の吸引方向と排出方向とが、略平行である請求項4に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記粉体搬送部が、定量の粉体を供給するための粉体供給手段を備える請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記導入部が、前記粉体を、前記ワーク固定部に固定される基材へ案内するガイド部材を有する請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記ガイド部材が、筒状の多孔質体である請求項7に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記ガイド部材が、筒状の外筒部と、その内側に所定の間隔を置いて配置された、多数の孔を有する筒状の内筒部とからなるものであるとともに、前記導入部が、前記外筒部と前記内筒部との間の空隙に気体を供給する気体供給手段を有する請求項7に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記ガイド部材が、筒状を呈するものであるとともに、前記導入部が、前記ガイド部材の内周面近傍に気体を吐出する吐出ノズルを有する請求項7に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記粉体搬送部から気流に乗って搬送された粉体を旋回させてその速度を調整する速度調整手段が、前記導入部に備わる請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記装置使用時にワーク固定部に固定されるハニカムフィルタの基材は、柱状を呈し、使用時において、ワーク固定部に固定される基材の軸方向が、略鉛直であり、前記気流が下から上へ流れる請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 前記粉体搬送部又は導入部に、分級手段を備える請求項1〜12の何れか一項に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置。
- 請求項1〜13の何れか一項に記載のハニカムフィルタ製造装置を用い、前記吸引部が吸引する気体aの流量A、前記粉体搬送部から噴射される気体bの流量B、前記導入部において前記気体bと混合される前記他の気体である気体cの流量Cが、A=B+C、且つ、C>0の関係を満たすように流量を調節して、
ハニカムフィルタの基材の内表面に、前記粉体を堆積させる過程を有するハニカムフィルタの製造方法。
