Description
Claims (23)
- それぞれ接面を有する少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分、
各前記接面上に配置された接着層、及び
たて糸及びよこ糸を有するテープ織物から成り、前記少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分を結合するために前記接着層上に配置されたテープ、
を包含する継ぎ目において、前記接着層が前記少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分及び前記テープ織物に含浸され、前記継ぎ目が、熱及び圧力の適用で形成される不均一の所定の厚さプロフィールを有するように形作られ、前記織物部分を前記テープに接合した後における前記不均一の厚さプロフィールが、前記テープの縁部におけるよりも、前記テープの中心において薄い、継ぎ目。 - 前記少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分が、たて糸とよこ糸を含む、請求項1記載の継ぎ目。
- 前記少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分のたて糸とよこ糸が互いに垂直である、請求項2記載の継ぎ目。
- 前記織物部分のたて糸が前記テープのたて糸に対して垂直である、請求項1記載の継ぎ目。
- 前記糸がポリエステルから成る、請求項1記載の継ぎ目。
- 前記テープが、前記少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分の各々のたて糸の番手と等しいよこ糸の番手を有する、請求項1記載の継ぎ目。
- 前記テープのよこ糸の番手が、前記少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分のそれぞれのたて糸の番手よりも10%大きい、請求項1記載の継ぎ目。
- 前記接着層が熱可塑性ポリウレタン樹脂を含む、請求項1記載の継ぎ目。
- 少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分のための継ぎ目を形成するシーミングシステムであって、
平らなヘッド面を有するシーマーヘッド、
交互に直線部分と曲線部分を含む横断面における形態を有するベース面を有し、前記シーマーヘッドから離間されたシーマーベース、及び
前記シーマーベースに隣接して配置され、前記シーマーヘッドとの間に開口を形成する少なくとも1つの裏当て層、
を包含するシーミングシステムにおいて、前記シーマーヘッド及び前記シーマーベースが、前記平らなヘッド面と前記ベース面を互いに向い合わせ前記開口内に配置された前記継ぎ目に圧力勾配を加えるために互いに移動可能であり、前記圧力勾配が、前記継ぎ目の中央部のまわりでの高圧力及び前記継ぎ目の縁部へ向かって低圧力を有する、シーミングシステム。 - 前記シーマーヘッド及び前記シーマーベースのうちの一方が加熱される、請求項9記載のシーミングシステム。
- 前記ベース面の前記横断面における形態が、
中央曲線部分、
前記中央曲線部分によって分離された第1及び第2の直線部分、及び
前記中央曲線部分と前記第1及び第2の直線部分によってそれぞれ分離された第1及び第2の曲線部分、
を含む、請求項9記載のシーミングシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの裏当て層が第1の裏当て層を含み、前記第1の裏当て層及び前記シーマーベースが、同じ長さ及び幅の寸法を有する、請求項9記載のシーミングシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの裏当て層が、シリコン発泡ゴムから成る第1の裏当て層を含む、請求項9記載のシーミングシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの裏当て層が、
前記シーマーベースと同じ長さ及び幅の寸法を有する第1の裏当て層、及び
前記第1の裏当て層と異なる厚さ及び硬さを有し、前記第1の裏当て層から突き出す第2の裏当て層、
を包含する、請求項9記載のシーミングシステム。 - 前記第2裏当て層が、シリコンゴムから成る、請求項14記載のシーミングシステム。
- 前記シリコンゴムが約ショアA40のジュロメーター硬さを有する、請求項15記載のシーミングシステム。
- 少なくとも2つの対向する織物部分のための継ぎ目を形成する方法であって、
平らなヘッド面を有するシーマーヘッドと、交互に直線部分と曲線部分を含む横断面における形態を有するベース面を備えるシーマーベースを準備し、
前記シーマーベースに隣接して第1の裏当て層を配置し、
前記シーマーヘッドと前記第1の裏当て層との間に形成される開口内に、テープ及び結合される前記織物部分に対向する接着層を挿入し、そして
前記シーマーヘッドと前記シーマーベースとの間で圧力を発生させる、
ことを包含する方法において、前記横断面における形態を有するベース面が、前記テープに圧力勾配を形成し、前記圧力勾配が、前記テープの中央部のまわりでの高圧力及び前記テープの縁部へ向かって低圧力を有する、方法。 - 前記シーマーヘッド及び前記シーマーベースの少なくとも一方から熱を加えることをさらに包含する、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記配置するステップが、
前記シーマーベースに隣接して前記第1の裏当て層を位置決めし、そして
前記第1の裏当て層に隣接して第2の裏当て層を位置決めする、
ことを包含する、請求項17記載の方法。 - 前記シーマーベースと同じ長さ及び幅寸法を有するように前記第1の裏当て層を寸法付けることをさらに包含する、請求項19記載の方法。
- 前記第1の裏当て層の周辺を突き出るように前記第2の裏当て層を寸法付けることをさらに包含する、請求項19記載の方法。
- 1.27センチメートル(0.50インチ)だけ突き出るように前記第2の裏当て層を寸法付けることをさらに包含する、請求項19記載の方法。
- 前記ベース面の前記横断面における形態に中央曲線部分を備え、
前記中央曲線部分によって分離される第1及び第2の直線部分を備え、そして
前記中央曲線部分と前記第1及び第2の直線部分によって分離される第1及び第2の曲線部分を備える、
ことをさらに包含する、請求項17記載の方法。
