また、(A)成分の代わりに、第4級アンモニウム塩型ではないカチオン界面活性剤を配合した比較例4の組成物や、(C)成分の代わりにトリアセチンを配合した比較例6の組成物、組成物中の水分量が5質量%の比較例7の組成物は、噴霧に際して振とうする必要があり、殺虫効力も低かった。また、安定性も悪かった。また、(B)成分の代わりに、25℃で固体状であるパラフィンワックスを配合した比較例5の組成物は、固化して製剤化できず、試験に供することができなかった。
