Description
本方法は、IMDを通常モードからMRIモードに切り換えることをさらに含んでいる。
例14では、例8〜例13のいずれかによる方法において、静止スキャン磁界が静止スキャン磁界閾値未満である場合に、IMDをMRIモードから通常モードに自動的に切り換えることをさらに含んでいる。

コントローラ62と通信する。例えば、コントローラ62は、検知および検出モジュール63から受信した信号に基づいて、ペーシングまたは除細動刺激などの所望の治療を送達するように治療モジュール64に命令を出すことが可能である。さらに、コントローラ62は、通信モジュール66に命令を出して、外部装置(例えば、プログラマ)との間でデータを送信および/または受信することが可能である。さらに、コントローラ62は、静止磁界検出モジュール68および/または時変磁界検出モジュール70から、MRIスキャンによって生成される磁界の存在または不存在を示す信号を受信することが可能である。
を決定すべく検知および検出モジュール63に包含されることがある回路構成の一例は、「自動キャプチャ・ペーシング/検知構成(Autocapture Pacing/Sensing Configuration)」と題する米国特許第7,092,756号に開示されており、それは参照によってその全体をここに援用する。

Claims (5)
- 埋め込み可能な医療機器(IMD)であって、
一又は複数の検知電極および一又は複数の治療送達電極を具備したリード線と、
磁気共鳴映像法(MRI)環境における静止スキャン磁界および時変スキャン磁界の存在を検出するように構成されたセンサと、
前記リード線および前記センサとの電気的通信状態にあり、前記一又は複数の検知電極を介して検知された頻脈事象に関連する信号を処理するとともに、前記一又は複数の治療送達電極を介してペーシング信号およびショック療法信号を送達するように構成されたコントローラとを備え、
前記コントローラは、検知された前記静止スキャン磁界および前記時変スキャン磁界を静止スキャン磁界閾値および時変スキャン磁界閾値と比較するようにさらに構成されており、
前記コントローラは、検出された前記頻脈事象と、検知された前記静止スキャン磁界の前記静止スキャン磁界閾値に対する比較結果と、前記時変スキャン磁界の前記時変スキャン磁界閾値に対する比較結果とに応じて、抗頻脈ペーシング信号およびショック療法信号の送達を制御し、
前記コントローラは、検知された頻脈事象を処理し、前記静止スキャン磁界閾値が超えられ、且つ前記時変スキャン磁界閾値が超えられない場合に、前記抗頻脈ペーシング信号の送達を可能にするとともに、前記ショック療法信号の送達を禁止し、
前記コントローラは、前記静止スキャン磁界閾値および前記時変スキャン磁界閾値が超えられる場合に、前記頻脈事象を不適格として前記抗頻脈ペーシング信号およびショック療法信号の送達を禁止する埋め込み可能な医療機器(IMD)。 - 前記コントローラは、検知された頻脈事象を処理し、前記静止スキャン磁界閾値および前記時変スキャン磁界閾値のいずれも超えられない場合に、前記抗頻脈ペーシング信号およびショック療法信号の送達を可能にする請求項1記載の埋め込み可能な医療機器(IMD)。
- 前記コントローラは、通常モードとMRIモードとの間で前記IMDを切り換えるように動作可能であり、前記センサは、前記通常モードで無効になり、前記MRIモードで有
効になる請求項1記載の埋め込み可能な医療機器(IMD)。 - 前記コントローラは、前記静止スキャン磁界が前記静止スキャン磁界閾値未満である場合に、前記IMDを前記MRIモードから前記通常モードに自動的に切り換える請求項3記載の埋め込み可能な医療機器(IMD)。
- 前記コントローラは、プログラムされた治療設定に応じて、抗頻脈ペーシング信号およびショック療法信号の送達をさらに制御する請求項1記載の埋め込み可能な医療機器(IMD)。
