Description
での近接度は、反射された光の強度から計算される。
固体センサや、レーザ、レーザダイオード及び発光ダイオードなど、容易に変調又はパルス化可能な現代の照明源を用いることにより、これらの原理に多大な用途と、利益の可能性が与えられる。用途としては、監視される寸法が大きいもの、又は、距離がミリメートル又はマイクロメートル程度のものがあり得る。
の対話型手段がライティング面(例えば、壁、卓、板、背面投影スクリーンなど)から離れているか否か、又は、ライティング面に非常に接近しているか否かを検出することが可能である。また、図2のシステムは、関連する目標物と基準物との間の距離/近接度を検出することにより、ドローイング用具のボタンその他の調節部が押下されたか否か、又は別の手法により作動されたか否かを検出してもよい。
Claims (10)
- 光源(1)と、光源(1)により照明されるときに基準物から生じる後方散乱光を受光するための光検出器(3)とを備え、光検出器(3)への後方散乱される光の強度を近接度の尺度として利用することにより、目標物(2)と基準物(6,8)との間の近接度を検出するための装置であって、該装置は、データ提示、コンピュータに支援される作業、及びコンピュータとの対話型操作用に適合されており、
焦点面(7)を有し、かつ、光源(1)により照明される光学デバイス(4)を目標物(2)が含むことと、
光源(1)及び光検出器(3)のうちの一方は目標物(2)に位置し、光源(1)及び光検出器(3)のうちの他方は目標物(2)及び基準物(6,8)から分離しており、
光源(1)の光路と光検出器(3)の光路とが目標物(2)上の同じ光学デバイス(4)を通過するように、光源(1)からの光線の軸と光検出器(3)への後方散乱による光線の軸とが互いに非常に接近し、ほぼ平行又は一致する部分を有することと、
近接度は目標物(2)と、ほぼ焦点面に位置する基準物(6,8)との間の相対位置に相当することとを特徴とする装置。 - 光源(1)の軸方向に対する光検出器(3)の軸方向は、ミラー及び他の光学要素を用いることにより変化させられる請求項1に記載の装置。
- 光源(1)は変調光又はパルス光を発光し、光検出器(3)は変調又はパルスに同期する請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 光検出器はカメラ(3)を含む請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 光学デバイス(4)は目標物(2)及び基準物(6,8)の2以上の相対位置における近接度の判定のための2以上の焦点面を有する請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 近接度の検出のために光検出器(3)へ後方散乱される光の強度は所定のレベル及び好
適には調節可能なレベルと比較される請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。 - 光源は目標物から分離しており、データ投影機からなる請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の装置の組み込まれた、データ提示、コンピュータに支援される作業又はコンピュータとの対話型操作のための、ドローイング用具、ライティング用具及びポインティング用具のうちの1つ以上の用具であって、関連する目標物と基準物との間の近接度を検出することにより、前記用具のボタンその他の調節部が押下されたか否か、又は別の手法により作動されたか否かを検出する用具。
- 受光器は装置の使用者の眼である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 光源はデータ投影機からなる請求項9に記載の装置。
