Claims (4)
- 上流側から下流側に向かって曲率が次第に大きくなるように形成された内周壁を有する旋回室と、前記旋回室に燃料を導入する旋回用通路と、前記旋回室に開口する燃料噴射孔とを備えた内燃機関に用いられる燃料噴射弁において、
前記旋回室の下流端側に接続される前記旋回用通路の側壁又はその延長線が、前記旋回室の内周壁の下流側部分又はその延長線と交わらないように、前記旋回室と前記旋回用通路とが形成され、
前記旋回室の壁面は上流側から下流側へ向かって曲率が大きくなるように形成され、
前記旋回室の中心と前記燃料噴射孔の中心を一致させ、
前記旋回室の中心と前記旋回室の内周壁の上流側の始点とを結ぶ直線状の第一の線分,前記第一の線分と前記内周壁の下流側に延長した延長線とが交わる第1の点Y0,前記第1の点Y0を通り前記第1の線分に垂直な直線状の第2の線分,前記第2の線分が前記第1の点Y0よりも上流側において前記内周壁又はその延長線と交わる第2の点P0,前記第2の点P0と前記旋回室の中心とを結ぶ直線状の第3の線分,前記旋回用通路の前記側壁と前記第3の線分とが交わる第3の点,前記第2の線分に平行でかつ前記第1の点と前記第2の点との間で前記内周壁又はその延長線に接する直線状の第4の線分,前記第4の線分が前記第3の線分と交わる第4の点をそれぞれ仮定するとき、前記第3の点が前記第3の線分上において前記第4の点よりも前記旋回室の中心から遠ざかる側に位置するようにし、
前記第2の点P0を起点とした厚み形成部が前記旋回用通路との間に形成されたことを特徴とする燃料噴射弁。 - 請求項1記載の燃料噴射弁において、
前記旋回室の断面がインボリュート曲線又は螺旋曲線で形成されたことを特徴とする燃料噴射弁。 - 請求項1または2に記載の燃料噴射弁において、
前記厚み形成部は、その断面が円形状部によって形成されていることを特徴とする燃料噴射弁。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の燃料噴射弁において、
前記円形状部は、前記内周壁の下流側端部と前記側壁の下流側端部とにおいて、前記内周壁と前記側壁とに接するように形成されていることを特徴とする燃料噴射弁。
