Description
Claims (5)
- 主磁極と、
補助磁極と、
前記主磁極と前記補助磁極を含む磁気回路に巻回されたコイルと、
前記主磁極のヘッド浮上面側に設けられた、磁性膜を備えるマイクロ波発生器とを有し、
ヘッド浮上面における前記マイクロ波発生器を構成する磁性膜と前記主磁極との膜面間距離より、前記マイクロ波発生器の素子高さ方向上端部における当該磁性膜と前記主磁極との膜面間距離の方が大きく、
前記主磁極は、前記浮上面から前記磁性膜高さよりも低い位置までは、前記磁性膜と平行に形成されていることを特徴とする磁気ヘッド。 - 主磁極と、
補助磁極と、
前記主磁極と前記補助磁極を含む磁気回路に巻回されたコイルと、
前記主磁極のヘッド浮上面側に設けられた、磁性膜を備えるマイクロ波発生器とを有し、
前記主磁極は、ヘッド浮上面から絞り位置まではほぼ一定の幅で、前記絞り位置から素子高さ方向に向かって次第に幅が広がる形状を有し、ここで、前記絞り位置は、前記マイクロ波発生器の素子高さ方向上端部よりも低い位置にあり、
ヘッド浮上面における前記マイクロ波発生器を構成する磁性膜と前記主磁極との膜面間距離より、前記マイクロ波発生器の素子高さ方向上端部における当該磁性膜と前記主磁極との膜面間距離の方が大きく、
前記主磁極は、前記浮上面から前記絞り位置までは、前記磁性膜と平行に形成されていることを特徴とする磁気ヘッド。 - 前記主磁極の前記磁性膜対向面は、前記磁性膜高さよりも低い前記位置から前記マイクロ波発生器の素子高さ方向上端部において前記磁性膜の前記主磁極対向面と30〜45度の角度を形成する請求項1記載の磁気ヘッド。
- 前記マイクロ波発生器は前記主磁極のトレーリング側に配置されている請求項1又は2記載の磁気ヘッド。
- 前記マイクロ波発生器は前記主磁極のリーディング側に配置されている請求項1又は2記載の磁気ヘッド。
