Description
前記特許文献1には、対象物表面にケイ素成分およびジルコニウム成分を含有する塗料を塗布した後、100〜300℃という比較的低温で加熱処理することにより、塗料の硬化を促進させ、親水性の防汚性膜を得ることが記載されている。このようにして得られた防汚性膜は、前述したような、洗濯槽、洗面器、バスタブなどの比較的低温の場所においては所望の防汚性を発揮するが、調理器用トッププレートなど、使用時に高温となるガラス物品の表面に付着した焦げ付きやスス汚れ等の強固な汚れに対しては、繰り返しの洗浄作業を行うと磨耗により劣化しやすくなる。そこで、結晶化ガラス板にケイ素成分およびジルコニウム成分を含有する塗料を塗布した後、350℃以上という高温で加熱処理を行うことにより、防汚性膜におけるβ−OH量を調整し、ガラス物品の調理表面に優れた耐磨耗性を付与することが可能となる。
スクリーン印刷によれば、非常に薄く厚みが均一の防汚性膜を結晶化ガラス板表面に容易に形成することが可能となる。
また、本発明のガラス物品の製造方法により製造されたガラス物品は、結晶化ガラス板と、その表面に形成されたケイ素およびジルコニウムの複酸化物またはケイ素およびジルコニウムの酸化物の混合物を含む防汚性膜とを備えたガラス物品であって、防汚性膜におけるβ−OH含有量が1〜300/mmである。

まず、長辺寸法300mm、短辺寸法150mm、板厚0.4mmを有する日本電気硝子株式会社製の透明結晶化ガラス板N−0(30〜750℃の平均線熱膨張係数:−4×10−7/℃)の表面に、テトラエトキシシランおよびジルコニウムテトラブトキシドを含む溶液を用いて、スクリーン印刷により厚さ50nmのケイ素とジルコニウムの複酸化物からなる塗膜を形成した。次に、表1に記載の温度にて加熱処理を行って防汚性膜を形成し、調理器用トッププレートを得た。この防汚性膜中におけるケイ素酸化物とジルコニウム酸化物との割合は、質量比で1:9であった。なお、比較例2では防汚性膜を形成しなかった。

Claims (1)
- 結晶化ガラス板にケイ素成分およびジルコニウム成分を含有する塗料をスクリーン印刷により塗布し、350℃以上で加熱処理を行うことにより、表面の中心線平均粗さRaが0.20μm以下である防汚性膜を形成することを特徴とするガラス物品の製造方法。
