Description
Claims (7)
- 膜電極アッセンブリと、
互いに反対側に位置するように前記膜電極アッセンブリに隣接して配置されたアノード側分離プレートおよびカソード側分離プレートと、
を備え、
前記アノード側分離プレートおよび前記カソード側分離プレートは、それぞれ両側面を有し、前記各々の側面の一方は、前記膜電極アッセンブリと連通した燃料流れ場および酸化剤流れ場を有し、前記カソード側分離プレートは、他方の側面に冷媒流れ場を有し、多孔質シートが、前記冷媒流れ場に隣接して配置され、前記アノード側分離プレートは、前記燃料流れ場において第1の水の透過性を有し、水が前記アノード側分離プレートの両側面の間ならびに該アノード側分離プレートの流れ場を通過できるように構成され、前記カソード側分離プレートは、前記酸化剤流れ場において前記カソード側分離プレートの両側面の間に前記アノード側分離プレートの第1の水の透過性よりも低い第2の水の透過性を有することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 前記カソード側分離プレートは、水が該カソード側分離プレートの両側面の間を通過することを阻止する中実プレートであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記多孔質シートは、前記アノード側分離プレートと前記カソード側分離プレートとの間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 少なくとも前記アノード側分離プレートは、前記第1の水の透過性を少なくとも部分的にもたらすように多孔質とされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記アノード側分離プレートおよび前記カソード側分離プレートは、互いに異なる泡圧力を有するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記燃料電池は、蒸発冷却式であり、該燃料電池は、前記酸化剤流れ場を有した冷却ループをさらに備え、前記酸化剤流れ場は、該酸化剤流れ場と水用分離器との間に配置されたコンデンサと連通し、前記水用分離器は冷媒入口と連通し、該冷媒入口は、前記アノード側分離プレートおよび前記カソード側分離プレートの少なくとも一方の冷媒流れ場と連通していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記アノード側分離プレートは、多孔質分離プレートからなり、前記カソード側分離プレートは、中実分離プレートからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
