1つの観点において、ロウシグナルピークツーアベレージ(low signal peak to average)(PAR)値を維持するチャネル構造が提供される。常に、チャネルは、シングルキャリア波形の望ましいプロパティ(property)である、周波数において連続的かまたは均一に間隔があけられている。

下記を具備する無線通信システムのための方法:
PARバックオフ値を受信または記憶する;
送信電力値を決定するために前記受信されたPARバックオフ値を適用する。

前記PARバックオフ値は、少なくとも一部分変調タイプに基づいている、請求項1の方法。

UL送信のためのレートを決定することをさらに備えた、請求項1の方法。

前記PARバックオフ値は、少なくとも一部分変調タイプに基づいており、QPSK変調よりも高いオーダーのQAM変調に対して大きい、請求項1の方法。

前記PARバックオフ値を考慮してデルタPSDをノードBにリポートする。

下記を具備する、無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な装置:
PARバックオフ値を受信しまたは記憶し、デルタPSDを受信する手段;
電力値を決定するために前記PARバックオフ値を適用する手段;
UL送信のためのレートを決定する手段。
[請求項20]
機械により実行されるとき、前記機械に下記を含む動作を実行させる命令を備えた機械読み取り可能媒体:
PARバックオフ値を受信または記憶し、デルタPSDを受信する;
電力値を決定するために前記PARバックオフ値を適用する;
UL送信のためのレートを決定する。
[請求項21]
下記を具備する、無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な装置:
PARバックオフ値を受信しまたは記憶し、デルタPSDを受信し、電力値を決定するために前記受信されたPARバックオフ値を適用するように構成されたプロセッサ;
前記プロセッサに接続され、データを記憶するメモリ。
[請求項22]
前記プロセッサは、少なくとも一部が変調タイプに基づくPARバックオフ値を受信または記憶するように構成される、請求項21の装置。
[請求項23]
前記プロセッサは、UL送信のためのレートを決定するように構成される、請求項21の装置。
[請求項24]
前記プロセッサは、少なくとも一部が変調タイプに基づき、QPSK変調よりも高いオーダのQAM変調の場合に、より大きいPARバックオフ値を受信し記憶するように構成される、請求項21の装置。
Claims (16)
- 無線通信システムに関する方法において、
アップリンクチャネルに関する第1の変調タイプを決定することと、
前記決定された変調タイプに関連したPARバックオフ値を前記複数のPARバックオフ値から選択することであって、前記PARバックオフ値は、第1のアンテナによって採用される第1の変調タイプおよび変調次数と、少なくとも1つのその他のアンテナによって採用される第2の変調タイプおよび変調次数とに少なくとも一部基づいて選択されることと、
前記選択されたPARバックオフ値に少なくとも一部基づいて前記アップリンクチャネルに関する送信電力値を決定することと、
を具備する方法。 - 前記PARバックオフ値は、四相位相変調(quadrature phase-shift keying)(QPSK)変調よりも高い次数の直交振幅変調(quadrature amplitude modulation)(QAM)変調に対して大きい、請求項1の方法。
- 前記PARバックオフ値は、QPSK変調よりも16QAM変調に対して大きい、請求項1の方法。
- 前記PARバックオフ値は、QPSK変調よりも64QAM変調に対して大きい、請求項1の方法。
- 無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な装置において、
アップリンクチャネルに関する変調タイプを決定する手段と、
前記決定された変調タイプに関連したPARバックオフ値を前記複数のPARバックオフ値から選択する手段であって、前記PARバックオフ値は、第1のアンテナによって採用される第1の変調タイプおよび変調次数と、少なくとも1つのその他のアンテナによって採用される第2の変調タイプおよび変調次数とに少なくとも一部基づいて選択される手段と、
前記選択されたPARバックオフ値に少なくとも一部分基づいて前記アップリンクチャネルに関する送信電力値を決定する手段と、
を具備する装置。 - 前記PARバックオフ値は、四相位相変調(quadrature phase-shift keying)(QPSK)変調よりも高い次数の直交振幅変調(quadrature amplitude modulation)(QAM)変調に対して大きい、請求項5の装置。
- 前記PARバックオフ値は、QPSK変調よりも16QAM変調に対して大きい、請求項5の装置。
- 前記PARバックオフ値は、QPSK変調よりも64QAM変調に対して大きい、請求項5の装置。
- 機械により実行されると前記機械に下記を含む動作を実行させる命令を具備する機械読み取り可能記録媒体において、前記命令は、
前記機械に、アップリンクチャネルに関する第1の変調タイプを決定させる命令と、
前記機械に、前記決定された変調タイプに関連したPARバックオフ値を前記複数のPARバックオフ値から選択させる命令であって、前記PARバックオフ値は、第1のアンテナによって採用される第1の変調タイプおよび変調次数と、少なくとも1つのその他のアンテナによって採用される第2の変調タイプおよび変調次数とに少なくとも一部基づいて選択される命令と、
前記機械に、前記PARバックオフ値に少なくとも一部分基づいて前記アップリンクチャネルに関する送信電力値を決定させる命令と、
を具備する機械読み取り可能記録媒体。 - 前記PARバックオフ値は、四相位相変調(quadrature phase-shift keying)(QPSK)変調よりも高い次数の直交振幅変調(quadrature amplitude modulation)(QAM)変調に対して大きい、請求項9の機械読み取り可能記録媒体。

- 無線通信システムにおいて動作可能な装置において、前記装置は、
アップリンクに関する第1の変調タイプを決定し、
前記決定された変調タイプに関連したPARバックオフ値を前記複数のPARバックオフ値から選択し、前記PARバックオフ値は、第1のアンテナによって採用される第1の変調タイプおよび変調次数と、少なくとも1つのその他のアンテナによって採用される第2の変調タイプおよび変調次数とに少なくとも一部基づいて選択され、
前記選択されたPARバックオフ値の少なくとも一部分基づいて前記アップリンクチャネルに関する送信電力値を決定する、
ように構成されたプロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに接続されデータを記憶するメモリと、
