Description
また、上記多軸加工機では、3つ以上の回転軸が交点で互いに直交する3つの回転軸であるので、切削工具をその刃先で交差する3つの回転軸のまわりに回転させることができ、切削工具の刃先を任意の方向に向けることができる。
上記多軸加工機では、刃先位置駆動装置が3つの回転軸のまわりの切削工具の回転角度を180°以内とする場合、切削工具の刃先を必要以上に回転させない機構となる。

以下、本発明の第1実施形態に係る多軸加工機を図面を用いて説明する。
以下、図面を参照して、本発明に係る第2実施形態の多軸加工機について説明する。なお、第2実施形態の多軸加工機は、第1実施形態の多軸加工機を変形したものであり、特に説明しない部分については、第1実施形態の多軸加工機と同様であるものとする。
以下、図面を参照して、本発明に係る第3実施形態の多軸加工機について説明する。なお、第3実施形態の多軸加工機は、第1実施形態の多軸加工機を変形したものであり、特に説明しない部分については、第1実施形態の多軸加工機と同様であるものとする。
Claims (6)
- 切削工具を保持した状態で互いに交差する3つ以上の回転軸のまわりに前記切削工具を回転させることができるとともに、前記3つ以上の回転軸の交点に前記切削工具の刃先を位置づける刃先位置駆動装置と、
前記切削工具を加工対象に対して相対的に変位させる位置駆動装置と、
を備え、
前記3つ以上の回転軸は、前記交点で互いに直交する3つの回転軸であり、
前記刃先位置駆動装置は、前記切削工具を前記3つの回転軸のまわりの任意の回転位置に保持するとともに、前記3つの回転軸のまわりの前記切削工具の回転角度に上限角度と下限角度とを設けて前記切削工具の刃先の回転姿勢を変化させる範囲を規定することを特徴とする多軸加工機。 - 前記切削工具の軸心は、前記3つの回転軸のうち1つの回転軸に沿って配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多軸加工機。
- 前記刃先位置駆動装置は、前記切削工具の軸心を支持する前記1つの回転軸と交差する少なくとも1つの回転軸に関して、前記切削工具の軸心を挟む位置において両持ち状態で、前記切削工具を回転可能に支持することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の多軸加工機。
- 前記刃先位置駆動装置は、前記1つの回転軸である第1回転軸のまわりに前記切削工具の軸心を支持する第1支持部と、前記第1回転軸と交差する第2回転軸のまわりに第1支持部を支持する第2支持部と、前記第1回転軸及び前記第2回転軸と交差する第3回転軸のまわりに第2支持部を支持する第3支持部とを備え、
前記第2支持部は、前記切削工具の軸心を挟む位置において両持ち状態で、前記第1支持部を支持することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の多軸加工機。 - 前記回転軸は、静圧軸受けにより支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載の多軸加工機。
- 前記静圧軸受けは、油静圧軸受けであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の多軸加工機。
