Claims (9)
- 電流制御デバイスであって、
直列に接続された複数のスイッチアレイ(20)と、
電圧昇降回路網(150)と、
消弧回路(14)と、
を含み、
前記複数のスイッチアレイ(20)の各々は、
ソース接続(24)と、ドレン接続(22)と、ゲート制御電極(37)とを有する第1の超小型電子機械システム(MEMS)スイッチ(27)と、
ドレン接続(22)と、ソース接続(24)と、ゲート制御電極(37)とを有し、前記第2のMEMSスイッチのソース接続(24)が前記第1のMEMSスイッチのソース接続(24)に結合された第2のMEMSスイッチ(35)と、
を備え、
前記消弧回路(14)は、
前記第1および第2のMEMSスイッチの開離を促進すると共に、前記第1および第2のMEMSスイッチに電気的に接続され、
前記複数のスイッチアレイ(20)の両端に、前記電圧昇降回路網(150)の一端と前記電圧昇降回路網(150)の他の一端それぞれ接続し、
前記電圧昇降回路網(150)は、前記複数のスイッチアレイ(20)の中間に電気的に接続し、前記複数のスイッチアレイ(20)の両端間の電圧を等化する、
電流制御デバイス。 - 前記第1および第2のMEMSのゲート制御電極(37)に結合されたゲートドライバ(39)をさらに備え、
前記ゲートドライバ(39)が、前記第1のMEMSスイッチ(27)および第2のMEMSスイッチ(35)を第1導電状態から第2の導電状態に切換えるように構成される請求項1に記載の電流制御デバイス。 - 前記第1のMEMSスイッチ(27)および前記第2のMEMSスイッチ(35)は、前記第1のMEMSスイッチ(27)と前記第2のMEMSスイッチ(35)のホールドオフ電圧が前記第1のMEMSスイッチ(27)と第2のMEMSスイッチ(35)の各々のホールドオフ電圧の合計であるように構成される請求項2に記載の電流制御デバイス。
- 前記消弧回路(14)は、前記複数のスイッチアレイ(20)と並列に接続すると共に、前記電圧昇降回路網(150)と並列に接続する、平衡ダイオードブリッジ(152)を含む、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の電流制御デバイス。
- 前記スイッチアレイに並列に結合し、前記第1のMEMSスイッチ(27)及び/又は前記第2のMEMSスイッチ(35)の接点の分離中の電圧のオーバーシュートを制限する電圧スナバ回路(33)を含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の電流制御デバイス。
- 電圧源(44)を含む負荷回路(40)が前記複数のスイッチアレイ(20)に直列に結合される請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の電流制御デバイス。
- 前記負荷回路(40)の交流ソース電圧を検出する電圧検出回路(80)と、
前記複数のスイッチアレイと結合し、前記交流ソース電圧のゼロ交差の発生を検出する検出回路(70)と、
前記複数のスイッチアレイ及び前記検出回路(70)と結合し、前記ゼロ交差の検出に応答して前記複数のスイッチアレイ内の1つまたは複数のスイッチのアークを発生しない切換えを促進する制御回路(72)と、
を含む請求項7に記載の電流制御デバイス。 - 前記負荷回路(40)の交流負荷電流(50)を検出する電流検出回路(82)と、
前記複数のスイッチアレイと結合し、前記交流負荷電流(50)のゼロ交差の発生を検出する検出回路(70)と、
前記複数のスイッチアレイ及び前記検出回路(70)と結合し、前記ゼロ交差の検出に応答して前記複数のスイッチアレイ内の1つまたは複数のスイッチのアークを発生しない切換えを促進する制御回路(72)と、
を含む請求項7に記載の電流制御デバイス。 - 電流過負荷の期間中に前記複数のスイッチアレイから電流を分流する電子バイパスデバイス(162)を含む請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の電流制御デバイス。
