Description
a)アルカリ培地中でのセルロリグニンの前処理及びそれに続く水を用いた洗浄;
b)市販の酵素が装填された状態での、中程度の温度での、好ましくは8〜12時間の期間の、残渣の酵素的加水分解(糖化)のための生物反応器への残渣の移動;
c)エタノールの生産に適合した酵母の添加及び最大期間32時間の酵素濃度の維持による、前のステップにおいて加水分解された材料のセルロース画分の同時の発酵;
d)生成したエタノールの分離及び蒸留。

Claims (12)
- リグノセルロース材料からエタノールを酵素的に生産する方法であって、
a)セルロース及びリグニンを含む固体物を、アルカリ溶液による1回又は複数回の洗浄にかけて、前記固体物からリグニンを少なくとも部分的に除去し、酸性化した水で洗浄して、6〜7のpHとし、水相から残りの前記固体物を分離するステップ;次いで
b)固体物を、まだ前記反応器中で、加水分解するステップであって、固体物を、微量栄養素の溶液及びセルロース分解酵素と反応させることを含み、ここで、固体:液体比は1:10〜1:20であり、温度は30℃〜50℃であり、酵素濃度は20〜30FPU/gであり、反応は8〜12時間進行させるステップ;並びに
c)酵素的加水分解に由来する培地を同時発酵によって発酵するステップであって、エタノール生産酵母を追加した後の培地中の追加されたエタノール生産酵母の細胞濃度が2〜6g/Lであるエタノール生産酵母を追加すること、及び32時間以内、温度を30℃〜39℃に維持することを含むステップ;次いで
d)蒸留によってエタノールを分離するステップ
を含む、上記方法。 - 酵母は、非遺伝子改変サッカロミセス セレビシエ(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)酵母である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 方法の生産率は1.0〜3.0g/L.hの範囲である請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 方法の全期間は32時間以内である請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 加水分解は45℃〜49℃の温度で進められる請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 発酵は35℃〜39℃の温度で進められる請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップc)の酵母のバイオマスの濃度は2〜6g/Lの範囲で維持される請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップb)に記載される酵素は市販のセルロース酵素調製物を加えることにより提供される請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- リグノセルロース材料はサトウキビバガスを含む請求項1から8までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 同時糖化発酵(SSF)がステップc)において実施される請求項1に記載の方法。
- リグノセルロース材料からエタノールを酵素的に生産する方法であって、
i)リグノセルロース材料を加水分解し、及び発酵させ、並びに固体物を保持するステップ;並びに
ii)前記固体物に対して、請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載の方法を実施するステップを含む、上記方法。 - リグノセルロース材料はサトウキビバガスを含む請求項11に記載の方法。
