Description
Claims (5)
- エンジンの空気取入口において排気ガスを混合する装置であって、
吸入空気コンジット内に配置される混合室であって、吸入空気を受ける入口と前記吸入空気を排出する出口とを有し、前記入口と前記出口との間にポートを有する混合室と、
前記ポートを通って延在する混合管であって、前記混合室内に配置される前記混合管の端部分は、前記混合室出口の方を向く細長い長円形の開口部と前記混合室入口の方を向く壁とを有するように区分された円筒部分として形作られ、前記混合管の先端は前記ポートの反対側の前記混合室の壁から、前記混合室の幅の20%以下の距離だけ離間し、前記混合管の前記端部分の断面積は、前記混合管が前記混合室内へと延在する点における前記混合室の断面積の少なくとも40%である混合管とを備え、
前記細長い開口部を形成する前記混合管の前記端部分の前記壁の縁部は、前記混合管の長手軸に対して約50°以上に配向され、
前記混合室の内面(A)と前記混合管の先端と反対側の前記細長い長円形の開口部端部(B)とがほぼ前記混合室の長手軸方向に配置されており、
前記細長い開口部は低いエンジン速度における逆流脈動中に給気を捕えるとともに、前記捕えられた給気と前記排気ガスとの混合を促進する装置。 - 前記細長い開口部を形成する前記混合管の前記端部分の前記壁の縁部は、略長円形である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記混合管の前記細長い開口部は、前記混合室内に配置される前記混合管の略長さにわたる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも前記先端における混合管の壁は、管直径の約10%以下の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- エンジンの空気取入口において排気ガスを混合する装置であって、
吸入空気コンジット内に配置される混合室であって、吸入空気を受ける入口と前記吸入空気を排出する出口とを有し、前記入口と前記出口との間にポートを有する混合室と、
前記ポートを通って延在する混合管であって、前記混合室内に配置される前記混合管の端部分は、前記混合室出口の方を向く細長い斜角開口部と、前記混合室入口の方を向く壁とを形成するように、前記混合管の長手軸に対して斜めに区分された円筒部分として成形され、前記混合管の先端は、前記ポートの反対側の前記混合室の壁から前記混合室の幅の20%以下の距離だけ離間し、前記混合管の前記端部分の断面積は、前記混合管が前記混合室内へと延在する点における前記混合室の断面積の少なくとも40%である混合管とを備え、
前記細長い斜角開口部を形成する前記混合管の前記端部分の前記壁の縁部は、前記混合管の長手軸に対して約50°以上に配向され、
前記混合室の内面(A)と前記混合管の先端と反対側の前記細長い斜角開口部端部(B)とがほぼ前記混合室の長手軸方向に配置されており、
前記細長い斜角開口部は低いエンジン速度における逆流脈動中に給気を捕えるとともに、前記捕えられた給気と前記排気ガスとの混合を促進する装置。
