Description
それと同時に、ラジエータファンを駆動することにより、エンジン運転中に常に負圧となる吸気室よりも、ラジエータ室の方が大きな負圧となるので、ラジエータ室から吸気室への高温空気の漏れも無くなり、熱の流れ込みを防止できる。
また、吸気室内の雰囲気温度が高い場合、吸気室内の熱を一壁面を介してラジエータ室に逃すことも可能となる。この結果、エンジン用吸気機器の温度上昇を抑えてエンジンの吸気効率の低下を防止できる。

Claims (2)
- エンジンを収納するパッケージにおいて、
エンジン用吸気機器である、エアクリーナおよび吸気サイレンサをラジエータおよびエンジンとは別室の吸気室に配置し、ラジエータおよびラジエータファンをエンジンとは別室のラジエータ室に配置し、前記吸気室を前記ラジエータ室に隣接させることで、前記吸気室の少なくとも一壁面をラジエータファンの駆動により給排気される冷却風に曝す構成とし、エンジン冷却水の熱を外部に取り出す水/水熱交換器を前記エンジンと同室のエンジン室に配置し、エンジン冷却水がラジエータをバイパスして水/水熱交換器に流れる場合でも、エンジン吸気温度が所定温度以上相当の条件下では、ラジエータ内のエンジン冷却水の循環有無に関わらずラジエータファンを駆動する構成としたことを特徴とするエンジン収納パッケージ。 - 請求項1記載のエンジン収納パッケージにおいて、吸気室、エンジンおよびラジエータとは別室の排気室に排気サイレンサを配置したことを特徴とするエンジン収納パッケージ。
