6.物品の熱老化引張強度を改良するために、有効量の分散した非溶融流動性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンのサブマイクロメートルサイズの粒子を含有する溶融加工可能なパーフルオロポリマーを含む、シート状物品。
7.物品は、押し出しにより製造され、これにより該物品は、押し出し方向と、該押し出しと交差する方向において異なる引張強度を有し、熱老化引張特性における改良は、該交差方向における引張強度が少なくとも改良されることである上記6に記載のシート状物品。
8.一平面シートとしての上記7に記載のシート状物品。
9.環状断面を有する上記7に記載のシート状物品。
10.管類としての上記9に記載のシート状物品。
Claims (5)
- 引張強度を減少させるのに十分な高温下で押し出しすることにより溶融加工可能なパーフルオロポリマーからシート状物品を溶融加工する方法であって、該溶融加工可能なパーフルオロポリマーは非溶融流動性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンのサブマイクロメートルサイズの粒子を含有しており、該粒子は該引張強度の減少を減じるのに有効な量でその中に分散されており、非溶融流動性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの粒子はコア/シェル構成を有し、コアがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含み、シェルが溶融加工可能なパーフルオロポリマーを含むことにより特徴付けられる、方法。
- 非溶融流動性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの粒子が、非溶融流動性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンの粒子と溶融加工可能なパーフルオロポリマーとを併せた重量の4〜40wt%を占める、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 物品の熱老化引張強度を改良するために、有効量の分散した非溶融流動性ポリテトラフルオロエチレンのサブマイクロメートルサイズの粒子を含有する溶融加工可能なパーフルオロポリマーを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法により製造された押し出しシート状物品。
- 物品は、押し出し方向と押し出し方向に交差する方向で異なる引張強度を有し、熱老化引張特性の改良は、少なくとも交差方向の引張強度の改善である、請求項3に記載のシート状物品。
- 環状断面を有する、請求項4に記載のシート状物品。
