Description
蛍光灯用の点灯装置は、フィラメントに塗布されたエミッタ(熱電子放出物質)の消費を抑えて、ランプが寿命末期に至る迄の時間を可能な限り長くするため、ランプへ始動電圧を印加する前にフィラメントを温める「先行予熱」が一般に広く行われている。本実施形態は、この先行予熱の時間内にフィラメント両端電圧を検出して、放電灯の判別を行う例である。
実施形態1では、先行予熱の推奨条件が異なるランプに対して、高い方の条件の予熱電流If2を先行予熱時間内に流し、フィラメント両端電圧Vfを検出してランプの判別を行う放電灯点灯装置の例を示したが、本実施形態は、更に高い予熱電流If3を流す例である。放電灯点灯装置の全体構成は図3と同じで良い。

Claims (5)
- フィラメント先行予熱の推奨予熱電流が異なる複数種の放電灯を点灯可能であり、先行予熱時間内にフィラメント両端電圧を検出して放電灯の判別を行う放電灯点灯装置において、検出時の予熱電流は前記推奨予熱電流のうち高い方の電流値であり、放電灯の判別後は放電灯の定格電力に適した出力に設定されることを特徴とする放電灯点灯装置。
- フィラメント先行予熱の推奨予熱電流が異なる複数種の放電灯を点灯可能であり、先行予熱時間内にフィラメント両端電圧を検出して放電灯の判別を行う放電灯点灯装置において、検出時の予熱電流は前記推奨予熱電流が低い放電灯が装着された場合には、先行予熱時間内にフィラメント周辺で電極間放電が発生する電流値であり、放電灯の判別後は放電灯の定格電力に適した出力に設定されることを特徴とする放電灯点灯装置。
- 放電灯が装着された後、初回の先行予熱時のみ放電灯の判別を行い、それ以降は初回時に判別した放電灯に適した出力に設定され、放電灯が外された時に放電灯の判別情報をリセットすることを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の放電灯点灯装置。
- フィラメントに被着されているエミッタ量が1.5倍以上異なる2種類の放電灯の何れも点灯可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の放電灯点灯装置。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の放電灯点灯装置と、放電灯点灯装置が取り付けられる器具本体と、器具本体に設けられ放電灯が着脱自由に装着されるとともに放電灯点灯装置と放電灯を電気的に接続するソケットとを備えたことを特徴とする照明器具。
