Description
The present invention relates to a composition for oral cavity, and in particular, while exhibiting the effect of sterilizing and removing oral microorganisms, irritation to the oral cavity derived from organosilicon quaternary ammonium is suppressed, and oral use with excellent usability Relates to the composition.
Conventionally, it has been known that a water-insoluble solid in which organosilicon quaternary ammonium is immobilized has antibacterial activity, and for example, it has been shown to be used for antibacterial treatment of synthetic fibers (Patent Document 1). ). It is also known that siliceous substances with immobilized organosilicon quaternary ammonium are blended into oral compositions, and the plaque control effect can be achieved by actually sterilizing and removing microorganisms in the oral cavity. It has been shown to increase (Patent Documents 2 and 3).
However, such quaternary ammonium type bactericides including organosilicon quaternary ammonium simultaneously irritate the oral cavity, which starts to give a tingling sensation and appears as a pungent or astringent taste. There has been a problem that irritation remains as an aftertaste and the feeling of use of the oral composition is significantly reduced.
In order to suppress the irritation | stimulation derived from a bactericidal agent in such an oral composition, a fragrance | flavor is generally used in anticipation of a masking effect. For example, a method for improving the usability of an oral composition using a mint note, a citrus note, a flavor having a fruit note, or the like (Patent Document 4), menthol, carvone, cinnamic aldehyde, etc. A method of suppressing the pungent taste derived from it is known (Patent Document 5). However, some of the fragrance components have too strong odor, and the feeling of use may be worsened due to the delicate balance of flavor. Or the surfactant mix | blended with the composition for oral cavity may receive the influence of the fragrance | flavor component mix | blended for masking, and may reduce the performance remarkably.
On the other hand, in order to suppress irritation of the oral composition without using a fragrance, a method using magnetized water is known (Patent Document 6). However, since this method requires a large amount of magnetized water for the entire oral composition, it is difficult to substantially use it for dentifrices and mouth fresheners with low water content. Conceivable.
The object of the present invention is to suppress the irritation to the oral cavity derived from organosilicon quaternary ammonium while demonstrating the effect of sterilization and removal of oral microorganisms by organosilicon quaternary ammonium which is a quaternary ammonium type fungicide. It is in providing the composition for oral cavity excellent in the usability | use_condition.
As a result of intensive studies in view of such circumstances, the present inventors have formulated a nonionic surfactant and a betaine-type amphoteric surfactant into an oral composition containing an organosilicon quaternary ammonium. The present inventors have found that an oral composition excellent in usability can be obtained by suppressing irritation derived from this bactericidal agent, and completed the present invention.

These carbon numbers can also be expressed as an average value of the carbon number of the alkyl group contained in the surfactant. If this carbon number is shorter than C8, bitterness may be produced or safety may be lowered. On the other hand, if it is longer than C18, foaming properties and water solubility are lowered, which is not preferable. Specific examples that fall within this carbon number range include decyl glucoside, lauryl glucoside, myristyl glucoside, and the like, which are commercially available as PLANTACARE 1200, PLANTACARE 2000 (Cognis), Oramix NS10, Oramix NS26 (SEPPIC), and the like. Five levels of evaluation criteria (5: very low, 4: low, 3: neither, 2: High, 1: very high) and the irritation felt in the oral cavity was evaluated. As a result, the average value of 5 persons is shown in Table 1. In addition, the acceptance criteria for the irritation evaluation were that the average value was 4.0 or more.
As shown in Table 1, lauryl glucoside as a nonionic surfactant and fatty acid amidopropyl betaine as an amphoteric surfactant were added to a dentifrice containing an organosilicon quaternary ammonium-fixed siliceous material (Examples) 1), decyl glucoside as a nonionic surfactant and 2-alkyl-N-carboxymethyl-N-hydroxyethylimidazolinium betaine as an amphoteric surfactant (Example 2), or nonionic About what added HCO-40 as surfactant and fatty acid amide propyl betaine as amphoteric surfactant (Example 3), all satisfy | filled the acceptance criteria and it turned out that the irritation is very low. . In contrast, the nonionic surfactant alone (Comparative Examples 1 and 2) cannot sufficiently suppress irritation, and when an anionic surfactant or a cationic surfactant is combined (comparison) In Examples 3 and 4, it was hardly possible to suppress irritation derived from the organosilicon quaternary ammonium-immobilized siliceous substance. Furthermore, the dentifrice containing benzethonium chloride, which is a quaternary ammonium type bactericidal agent (Comparative Example 5), is lauryl in spite of a smaller amount than the organosilicon quaternary ammonium-fixed siliceous substance. Even if glucoside and fatty acid amidopropyl betaine were added, the stimulation could not be suppressed.
