Description
Xは少なくとも1つのベンゼン環を含む2価基であり、Rは炭素数1〜6の直鎖もしくは分枝鎖のアルキレンである。
R2およびR3は各々水素、炭素数1〜6の直鎖もしくは分枝鎖のアルキルまたは炭素数2〜6の直鎖もしくは分枝鎖のアルケニルであり、nおよびmは各々1〜5の整数である。
R5およびR8は各々水素、炭素数1〜6の直鎖もしくは分枝鎖のアルキルまたは炭素数2〜6の直鎖もしくは分枝鎖のアルケニルであり、qおよびrは各々1〜5の整数である。

Rth=[(nx+ny)/2−nz]×d
nxはフィルム面内屈折率のうちの最も大きい屈折率を示し、
nyはフィルム面内屈折率のうちのnxと垂直な方向の屈折率を示し、
nzはフィルム厚さ方向の屈折率を示し、
dはフィルムの厚さを示す。
以下では実施例を通じて本発明をより詳細に説明する。但し、以下の実施例は本発明を例示するためのものであって、下記実施例によって本発明の範囲が限定されるものではない。
ポリ(N−シクロヘキシルマレイミド−co−メチルメタクリレート)樹脂としてはLGMMA社のIH830HR樹脂を用いた。フェノキシ系樹脂としてはInChem Corporationのフェノキシ樹脂InChemRez Phenoxy PKFE(登録商標)樹脂を用いた。

nyはフィルム面内屈折率のうちのnxと垂直な方向の屈折率を示し、
nzはフィルム厚さ方向の屈折率を示し、
dはフィルムの厚さを示す。
フェノキシ系(PKFE)樹脂を含むことなく、ポリ(N−シクロヘキシルマレイミド−co−メチルメタクリレート)樹脂だけからフィルムを製造したことを除いては、実施例1〜5と同じ方法によりフィルムを製造し延伸して物性を測定した。前記実施例1〜5と比較例における樹脂組成、1軸延伸条件による光学フィルムの面内位相差値と厚さ方向位相差値を下記表1に示す。
実験用簡易延伸機を利用して2軸延伸を実施したことを除いては、実施例1〜5と同じ方法によりフィルムを製造し延伸して物性を測定した。その結果を下記表2に示す。
ポリ(N−シクロヘキシルマレイミド−co−メチルメタクリレート)樹脂とフェノキシ系(PKFE)樹脂を85:15の重量比で均一に混合したことを除いては、前記実施例1〜5と同じ方法によりフィルムを製造した。パイロット延伸機を利用し、色々なMD方向延伸条件とTD方向延伸条件を組み合わせて延伸フィルムを得、測定された位相差を下記表3に示す。
ポリ(N−シクロヘキシルマレイミド−co−メチルメタクリレート)樹脂とフェノキシ系(PKFE)樹脂を80:20の重量比で均一に混合したことを除いては、実施例10と同じ方法によりフィルムを製造し延伸して物性を測定した。測定された結果を下記表4に示す。
Claims (13)
- 前記芳香族系樹脂は1,500〜2,000,000g/molの数平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記(メタ)アクリレート誘導体およびマレイミドの共重合体の含有量は約40%〜約99%であり、前記芳香族系樹脂の含有量は約1%〜約60%である、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記光学フィルムは水分透過度が2〜100g/m2 dayであり、偏光子保護フィルム用である、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- 面内位相差が0〜100nmであり、厚さ方向位相差が0〜300nmである、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- VAモード液晶表示装置用位相差フィルムである、請求項5に記載の光学フィルム。
- 面内位相差が0〜300nmであり、厚さ方向位相差が0〜250nmである、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- TNモード液晶表示装置用位相差フィルムである、請求項7に記載の光学フィルム。
- 面内位相差が0〜200nmであり、厚さ方向位相差が0〜200nmである、請求項1に記載の光学フィルム。
- IPSモード液晶表示装置用位相差フィルムである、請求項9に記載の光学フィルム。
- 偏光子および前記偏光子の少なくとも一面に備えられた請求項1に記載の光学フィルムを含む偏光板。
- 請求項11に記載の偏光板を含む液晶表示装置。
- 請求項1に記載の光学フィルムを含む情報電子装置。
