Claims (4)
- 軸方向一端部に底部を有するカップ部品と、このカップ部品に装着されるリング状のフランジ部品とを備え、カップ部品の底部の軸方向一端部に軸方向に突出する小径の突部を設け、突部の外径面とカップ部品の外径面との間に半径方向に延びる肩面を介在させ、フランジ部品の内径面を突部の外径面に嵌合させ、フランジ部品の内径面と突部の外径面との嵌合部を溶接して両面を接合した等速自在継手の外側継手部材であって、
前記肩面と突部の外径面とを何れも旋削で形成された面とし、カップ部品の肩面と突部の外径面との間に、溶接で生じた溶融金属が流入する逃げ部を形成し、溶接で形成されたビード部の表面をフランジ部品の他部材に取り付ける取り付け端面と同レベル、もしくは取り付け端面よりも軸方向他端側に位置させたことを特徴とする等速自在継手の外側継手部材。 - フランジ部品の内径部を薄肉にし、前記嵌合部の軸方向一端を、フランジ部品の、他部材に取り付ける取り付け端面よりも軸方向他端側に位置させたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- フランジ部品を均一肉厚にしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- 前記逃げ部を断面部分円弧状とし、前記逃げ部の曲率半径Rを0.2mm以上、1mm以下とするとともに、深さを0.05mm以上、2/3R以下としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
