Description
(1)融点:ゲレンキャンプ社製の融点測定装置、型式MFB−595(JIS K0064に準拠)
(2)赤外線(IR)分光光度計:日本分光社製、型式IR−810
(3)核磁気共鳴装置(NMR):日本電子社製、型式GSX FT NMR Spectorometer
(4)Massスペクトル:島津製作所社製、質量分析計、型式GCMS−QP5000
(5)屈折率計:エルマー販売社製、型式ER−7MW−H
2−ヒドロキシ−1,4−ナフトキノン10g(0.057モル)、アセトン60ml、5重量%パラジウム担持パラジウム/カーボン0.5gを200mlオートクレーブに仕込み、攪拌下、0.4MPaの圧力で容器内を窒素で3回置換し、反応器を加熱して40℃に昇温した。その後、攪拌を止めて、0.4MPaの圧力で容器内を水素で3回置換した後、攪拌して水素還元反応を開始した。30分後、容器内の水素を放圧し、0.4MPaの圧力で容器内を窒素で置換し、窒素雰囲気下で5重量%パラジウム担持パラジウム/カーボンを濾過し、1,2,4−トリヒドロキシナフタレンのアセトン溶液を得た。

(3)1H−NMR(CDCl3,ppm):δ=6.02,6.11,6.12(dd,1H×3,オレフィン−HB,JAB=1.4Hz,JBX=10.3Hz),6.29,6.44,6.46(dd,1H×3,オレフィン−HX,JAX=17.3Hz,JBX=10.3Hz),6.61,6.72,6.74(dd,1H×3,オレフィン−HA,JAB=1.4Hz,JAX=17.3Hz),7.38(s,1H,芳香環−H1),7.50−7.60(m,2H,芳香環−H3,4),7.84−7.93(m,2H,芳香環−H2,5).
(4)Massスペクトル(EI−MS)m/z=338(M+)
(5)屈折率(nD):1.585
実施例1と同様に2−ヒドロキシ−1,4−ナフトキノン10g(0.057モル)より合成した1,2,4−トリヒドロキシナフタレンのアセトン溶液を、窒素雰囲気下、滴下ロート、冷却管、温度計を備えた反応器に加えた後、攪拌下、塩化メタクリロイル21.0g(0.202モル)を添加し、氷水で冷却しながらトリエチルアミン22.1g(0.218モル)を30分かけて滴下した。2時間攪拌後、純水100gを加えて2層に分液させた後、酢酸エチル50mlを加えて抽出した。有機層を純水50gで洗浄し、酢酸エチルを減圧留去し、橙色液体の粗1,2,4−トリメタクリロイルオキシナフタレン23.4g(粗収率100モル%)を得た。この粗結晶をメタノール10gで加熱溶解したのち冷却することにより晶析し、濾過・乾燥することにより白色結晶の1,2,4−トリメタクリロイルオキシナフタレン11.1g(収率51モル%)を得た。

実施例1と同様の方法で合成した1,2,4−トリアクリロイルオキシナフタレン100部に対し1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(チバ・スペシャリティ社製イルガキュア184)1部を混合し、光ラジカル重合性組成物を調製した。当該光ラジカル性組成物をガラス容器中に仕込み、85℃のオイルバス中に浸漬して溶融した。得られた融液をポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー、ルミラーは東レ株式会社の登録商標)の上に膜厚が0.5mmになるように塗布し、その後、窒素雰囲気下、膜を80℃に保温した状態で、表面に高圧水銀ランプ(波長366nmにおける照射強度が2mW/cm2)を照射し重合物を得た。べたつき(タック)がなくなるまでの光照射時間「タック・フリー・タイム」は3分であった。
実施例2と同様にして合成した1,2,4−トリメタクリロイルオキシナフタレン100部に対し1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(チバ・スペシャリティ社製イルガキュア184)1部を混合し、光ラジカル重合性組成物を調製した。当該光ラジカル性組成物をガラス容器中に仕込み、100℃のオイルバス中に浸漬して溶融した。得られた融液をポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー)の上に膜厚が0.5mmになるように塗布し、その後、窒素雰囲気下、膜を95℃に保温した状態で、表面に高圧水銀ランプ(波長366nmにおける照射強度が10mW/cm2)を照射し光重合物を得た。べたつき(タック)がなくなるまでの光照射時間「タック・フリー・タイム」は6分であった。
実施例1と同様にして合成した1,2,4−トリアクリロイルオキシナフタレン20部、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート100部に対し1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(チバ・スペシャリティ社製イルガキュア184)1部を混合し、光ラジカル重合性組成物を調製した。当該光ラジカル性組成物をガラス容器中に仕込み、60℃のオイルバス中に浸漬して溶融した。得られた融液をポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー)の上に膜厚が0.5mmになるように塗布し、その後、窒素雰囲気下、膜を50℃に保温した状態で、表面に高圧水銀ランプ(波長366nmにおける照射強度が10mW/cm2)を照射し光重合物を得た。べたつき(タック)がなくなるまでの光照射時間「タック・フリー・タイム」は2分であった。
1,4−ジアクリロイルオキシナフタレン20部、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート100部に対し1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(チバ・スペシャリティ社製イルガキュア184)1部を混合し、光ラジカル重合性組成物を調製した。当該光ラジカル性組成物をガラス容器中に仕込み、60℃のオイルバス中に浸漬して溶融した。得られた融液をポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー)の上に膜厚が0.5mmになるように塗布し、その後、窒素雰囲気下、膜を50℃に保温した状態で、表面に高圧水銀ランプ(波長366nmにおける照射強度が10mW/cm2)を3分間照射したが、表面が0.1mm程度硬化するだけであった。
4−メトキシ−1−アクリロイルオキシナフタレン20部、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート100部に対し1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン(チバ・スペシャリティ社製イルガキュア184)1部を混合し、光ラジカル重合性組成物を調製した。当該光ラジカル性組成物をガラス容器中に仕込み、60℃のオイルバス中に浸漬して溶融した。得られた融液をポリエステルフィルム(東レ製ルミラー)の上に膜厚が0.3mmになるように塗布し、その後、窒素雰囲気下、膜を50℃に保温した状態で、表面に高圧水銀ランプ(波長366nmにおける照射強度が10mW/cm2)を6分間照射したが、組成物が黄色くなるのみで、全く硬化していなかった。
Claims (5)
- 一般式(1)で示される1,2,4−トリ(メタ)アクリロイルオキシナフタレン化合物。
- 請求項1に示す1,2,4−トリ(メタ)アクリロイルオキシナフタレン化合物及び光ラジカル重合開始剤を含有する光ラジカル重合性組成物。
- 請求項2に示す光ラジカル重合性組成物を重合してなる重合物。
- 請求項3に示す重合物を含有する高屈折材料。
- 1,2,4−トリヒドロキシナフタレン化合物を(メタ)アクリル化することよりなる請求項1に記載の1,2,4−トリ(メタ)アクリロイルオキシナフタレン化合物の製造方法。
