Description
Claims (9)
- 流体の殺菌に用いられる紫外線光源であって、
マイクロ波に励起されて紫外線放射線を発生する紫外線灯と、
前記紫外線灯にマイクロ波エネルギーを供給するマイクロ波エネルギー源と、
前記マイクロ波エネルギーを、マイクロ波エネルギー源から紫外線灯に案内する導波管であって、前記マイクロ波エネルギー源に連結された線形導波管と該線形導波管に接続された非線形導波管とを含む複数の導波管と、
紫外線透過性材料から形成され、前記紫外線灯の全体を包囲するエンクロージャとを具え、
前記エンクロージャは、内面に導電性材料が配備され、該導電性材料は前記紫外線透過性材料と共に紫外線透過性導波管を形成し、
前記エンクロージャは、一方の端部に紫外線透過性材料を非線形導波管に連結する連結用フランジが配備され、反対側の他方の端部に、マイクロ波エネルギーの流れがエンクロージャから出るのを阻止する閉鎖用エンド・フランジが配備されている、紫外線光源。 - 導電性材料は紫外線透過性材料と一体に形成されている、請求項1の紫外線光源。
- 導電性材料は紫外線透過性材料の内面にコーティングとして施されている、請求項1の紫外線光源。
- 導電性材料は紫外線透過性材料から離間している、請求項1の紫外線光源。
- 導電性材料は金属メッシュであり、該金属メッシュは、銅、アルミニウム及びステンレス鋼からなる群から選択される材料を含んでいる、請求項1の紫外線光源。
- 少なくともエンクロージャを取り囲む管状ハウジングをさらに具えており、該管状ハウジングは、流体の導入口と流体の排出口とを有し、流体が、導入口からエンクロージャに沿って排出口の方へ流れる形状に形成されており、エンクロージャに沿って流れる流体に、紫外線灯によって発生した紫外線放射線が放射される、請求項1の紫外線光源。
- 紫外線透過性材料は石英材料である、請求項1の紫外線光源。
- 流体の殺菌に用いられる紫外線光源であって、
マイクロ波に励起されて紫外線放射線を発生する紫外線灯と、
前記紫外線灯にマイクロ波エネルギーを供給するマイクロ波エネルギー源と、
前記マイクロ波エネルギーを、マイクロ波エネルギー源から紫外線灯に案内する導波管であって、前記マイクロ波エネルギー源に連結された線形導波管と該線形導波管に接続された非線形導波管とを含む複数の導波管と、
紫外線透過性石英材料から形成され、前記紫外線灯の全体を包囲するエンクロージャとを具え、
前記エンクロージャは、内面に導電性材料の金属メッシュが配備され、該金属メッシュは前記紫外線透過性材料と共に紫外線透過性導波管を形成し、
前記エンクロージャは、一方の端部に紫外線透過性石英材料を非線形導波管に連結する連結用フランジが配備され、反対側の他方の端部に、マイクロ波エネルギーの流れがエンクロージャから出るのを阻止する閉鎖用エンド・フランジが配備されており、
紫外線光源は、少なくともエンクロージャを取り囲む管状ハウジングをさらに具え、
該管状ハウジングは、ハウジングの内面に施された反射性ライニングと、流体の導入口と流体の排出口とを有し、流体が、導入口からエンクロージャに沿って排出口の方へ流れる形状に形成されており、エンクロージャに沿って流れる流体に、紫外線灯によって発生した紫外線放射線が放射される、紫外線光源。 - 流体の殺菌に用いられる紫外線光源であって、
マイクロ波に励起されて紫外線放射線を発生する紫外線灯と、
前記紫外線灯にマイクロ波エネルギーを供給するマイクロ波エネルギー源と、
前記マイクロ波エネルギーを、マイクロ波エネルギー源から紫外線灯に案内する導波管であって、前記マイクロ波エネルギー源に連結された線形導波管と該線形導波管に接続された非線形導波管とを含む複数の導波管と、
紫外線透過性材料から形成され、前記紫外線灯の全体を包囲するエンクロージャとを具え、
前記エンクロージャは、内面に導電性材料のコーティングが配備され、該コーティングは前記紫外線透過性材料と共に紫外線透過性導波管を形成し、
前記エンクロージャは、一方の端部に紫外線透過性材料を非線形導波管に連結する連結用フランジが配備され、反対側の他方の端部に、マイクロ波エネルギーの流れがエンクロージャから出るのを阻止する閉鎖用エンド・フランジが配備されている、紫外線光源。
