Description
(R:アルキル基、アリール基またはイソシアネート基、n:1以上の整数)で表わされるシリルイソシアネートオリゴマーおよび(4)有機溶媒可溶性ゴムよりなる表面処理剤が提案されている。このような表面処理剤を用いることにより、組込時の作業性、粘着性を向上することができるものの、表面処理剤の主成分がトルエン、酢酸エチル、メチルエチルケトンなどの有機溶剤であり、環境負荷が大きく取扱いが容易ではないといった問題があった。

(ここで、いずれもR1およびR2はそれぞれ独立に炭素数が1〜4のアルキル基を示し、nおよびmはそれぞれ1≦n≦3、m=3-nである)で表わされるシラン化合物および/またはその部分加水分解物よりなり、シリコーンオイルの不揮発分重量100重量部に対してポリウレタン樹脂が固形分重量として100重量部以上、好ましくは100〜2,000重量部用いられた水系表面処理剤によって達成される。
固形分合計量:シラノール基含有ポリウレタン樹脂=5〜90:95〜10といった固形分重量割合で混合される。
このシロキサン結合は、他のウレタン化架橋反応で生成する結合に比べ安定であるため、得られる表面処理被膜の耐溶剤性が良好であるといった効果を奏する。ウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョンは、表面処理被膜に摺動に対する耐久性を与え、さらにシリコーンオイルを取り込み、表面処理被膜にオイル分のブリードさせることなく、潤滑性、低摩擦性、非粘着性を与える。かかるシラノール変性ポリウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョンとしては、樹脂固形分濃度10〜70重量%のものが用いられる。

(R1、R2:炭素数が1〜4のアルキル基、n、m:1≦n≦3、m=3-n)で表わされるシラン化合物が用いられる。これらは、シリコーンエマルジョンの反応性有機基、上記特定のシラン化合物のアルコキシ基との反応により、表面処理被膜内にシリコーンオイルを保持させ、オイル分をブリードさせることなく、表面の潤滑性、低摩擦性、非粘着性を発現させる成分であり、ポリウレタン樹脂の水性エマルジョンと反応し、シリコーンオイルと架橋後のポリウレタン樹脂の親和性を向上させ、シリコーンオイルを表面処理被膜内にとどめる効果を奏する。また、表面処理させる基材に対し、塗装性の向上を付与させる働きを有する。
以上の各成分(カッコ内は固形分重量を示す)を混合し、さらにホモジナイザおよび超音波処理装置を用いて乳化処理して表面処理剤を得た。この表面処理剤は、ポリウレタン樹脂分総量が2.98重量部であり、これはシリコーンオイル100重量部(不揮発分として;以下同じ)に対して222.3重量部に相当する。
摩擦係数:ASTM D-1894に準じ、新東科学製表面性試験機ヘイドン・トライボギア
によって、表面処理加硫ゴムシート表面の動摩擦係数を測定
(試験条件) 相手材:直径10mmのSUS304鋼球
移動速度:50mm/分
荷重:0.49N
振幅:50mm
耐久性試験:ヘイドン・トライボギアを用いて、下記条件による試験終了後、被膜の
剥がれがないものを○、基材の一部でも露出がみられた場合を×として
評価
(試験条件) 相手材:直径10mmのSUS304鋼球
移動速度:400mm/分
荷重:0.98N
振幅:30mm、500回
非粘着性試験:表面処理フッ素ゴム製OリングをSUS430材で挟み、50%圧縮した状
態で150℃の恒温槽内で30分間加熱し、その後室温で1時間静置した
後SUS材から解放し、解放後直ちに離型可能なものを○、解放直後に
は粘着しているが、1分後に離型が可能なものを△、粘着または金属
材に転写してはがれを生じたものを×と評価
耐溶剤性試験:表面処理フッ素ゴム製Oリングを、トルエン中に24時間浸せきした後
、トルエン中に浸せきしたままの状態で超音波洗浄機で10分間処理した
ものを取り出し、被膜の溶解および剥がれがないものを○、溶解、剥が
れはみられないものの、白く変色したものを△、被膜の溶解、剥がれの
いずれかが確認できたものを×と評価
ブリーディング評価:表面処理剤を塗布乾燥後、表面処理されたゴムシートの表面
にオイル分がブリードしていないものを○、ブリードしているも
のを×と評価
ポットライフ試験:固形分濃度10重量%の表面処理剤溶液を液温25℃、湿度70%の
雰囲気下で72時間静置し、目視にて溶液中に沈殿物の発生が認め
られないものを○、沈殿物の発生が認められたものを×と評価
塗布性試験:表面処理フッ素ゴムシートの塗膜状態を目視で観察し、ムラがなく均
一に塗布されているものを○、ムラがあり均一に塗布されていないものを
×として評価
パーツフィーダーによるOリングの搬送特性評価:
表面処理フッ素ゴム製Oリング500個を、パーツフィーダーにより搬送し、
単位時間当たりの通過個数(搬送速度)およびパーツフィーダー上に残った
Oリング残留個数をカウント
ここで、通過個数が多い程、搬送速度が速いこととなり、ブロッキングし
たOリングは、パーツフィーダー上に残ることとなる
実施例1において、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランの代わりに、γ-メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシランが同量用いられた。これは、ポリウレタン樹脂分総量が2.98重量部であり、シリコーンオイル100重量部に対して222.3重量部に相当する。
実施例1において、シラノール変性ポリウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョンの代わりに、自己架橋基を有さないポリウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョン(固形分30重量%;三井化学ポリウレタン製品タケラックW-6061)が同量用いられた。これは、ポリウレタン樹脂分総量が2.98重量部であり、シリコーンオイル100重量部に対して222.3重量部に相当する。
実施例1において、シラノール変性ポリウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョンが用いられず、またヒドラジド類およびカルボニル基含有ウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョン量が、8.28(2.98)重量部に変更されて用いられた。これは、ポリウレタン樹脂分総量が2.98重量部であり、シリコーンオイル100重量部に対して222.3重量部に相当する。
比較例3において、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランの代わりにγ-メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシランが同量用いられた。これは、ポリウレタン樹脂分総量が0.56重量部であり、シリコーンオイル100重量部に対して73.5重量部に相当する。
比較例3において、ヒドラジドおよびカルボニル基含有ポリウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョン、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランおよびジメチルラウリルアミンオキサイドが、いずれも用いられなかった。
実施例1において、表面処理が行われなかった。

- シリコーンオイルの水性エマルジョン、(a)ヒドラジド類およびカルボニル基含有ポリウレタン樹脂を含有する水性エマルジョンおよび(b)シラノール変性ポリウレタン樹脂水性エマルジョンの混合物であるポリウレタン樹脂の水性エマルジョンおよび一般式
