Claims (4)
- エンジンにより駆動されて発電を行う車両用発電機と、前記車両用発電機により充電されるバッテリと、前記バッテリに継電手段を介して並列接続されるキャパシタとを備える車両用電源システムであって、
前記キャパシタは、前記継電手段により充電されるとともに、車両駐車中に作動する駐車中作動システムに対して作動電力を供給し、
前記キャパシタから前記駐車中作動システムに供給される作動電力の電圧は、前記バッテリの端子電圧よりも低く、前記駐車中作動システムの内部電圧よりも高いことを特徴とする車両用電源システム。 - 請求項1において、
前記継電手段は、車両駐車中に前記キャパシタの端子電圧を監視し、この端子電圧が前記バッテリの端子電圧よりも低くなるように前記キャパシタを間欠的に充電することを特徴とする車両用電源システム。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記駐車中作動システムは、作動に必要な電圧を確保するために、前記継電手段に対して通電要求を行い、
前記継電手段は、前記通電要求に応じて前記キャパシタを充電することを特徴とする車両用電源システム。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかにおいて、
前記バッテリの充放電電流を検出する電流検出手段をさらに備え、
前記継電手段は、前記電流検出手段による検出結果に基づいてバッテリ容量を判定し、このバッテリ容量が次回のエンジン始動が不可能な値に達する前に前記キャパシタへの充電を停止することを特徴とする車両用電源システム。
