Claims (4)
- 軸部材に設けられた磁歪材と、該磁歪材に対向して配置され、該磁歪材の磁気特性の変化を検出するコイルと、前記軸部材を支持する軸受けとを有する磁歪式トルクセンサであって、
前記軸部材を囲むように良導体である非磁性材料が設けられ、
前記良導体である非磁性材料は、前記軸受けとは別部材であって、且つ中空の円筒状を有し、前記軸部材の全周にわたって接触するように、且つ、前記コイルに対して軸方向に異なる位置にのみ設けられていることを特徴とする磁歪式トルクセンサ。 - 請求項1記載の磁歪式トルクセンサにおいて、
前記良導体である非磁性材料は、少なくとも前記軸部材の径方向外側に渦電流を発生することができる厚みを有することを特徴とする磁歪式トルクセンサ。 - 請求項1又は2記載の磁歪式トルクセンサにおいて、
前記良導体である非磁性材料は、前記軸部材とは別に作られた部材であることを特徴とする磁歪式トルクセンサ。 - 運転者が車両のステアリングホイールを操舵することによって発生する操舵トルクを検出する操舵トルクセンサを有し、モータの動力を操舵系に直接作用させて、運転者の前記操舵トルクを軽減する電動パワーステアリング装置において、
前記操舵トルクセンサは、
軸部材に設けられた磁歪材と、該磁歪材に対向して配置され、該磁歪材の磁気特性の変化を検出するコイルと、前記軸部材を支持する軸受けとを有し、
前記軸部材を囲むように良導体である非磁性材料が設けられ、
前記良導体である非磁性材料は、前記軸受けとは別部材であって、且つ中空の円筒状を有し、前記軸部材の全周にわたって接触するように、且つ、前記コイルに対して軸方向に異なる位置にのみ設けられていることを特徴とする電動パワーステアリング装置。
