図1(a)は、本発明の一実施形態である、ステントデリバリーカテーテル100(以下単にカテーテル100ともいう。)の全体を示す側面図である。図1(b)は、図1(a)の一点鎖線X−X’で切断した断面図である。カテーテル100は、体内に挿入されるカテーテル部100aと、このカテーテル部100aに接続され、体外側から、体内のカテーテル部100aを操作するための操作部100bとを備えている。

X線不透過物質としては、例えばタングステン、硫酸バリウム、酸化ビスマス、金、白金等が挙げられる。
Claims (11)
- 遠位端及び近位端を有し、遠位端側の外周面上にステントが配置される内管と、
遠位端及び近位端を有し、前記内管の外周側に軸芯を共有するように配置されるとともに、前記内管に対して軸方向に相対移動可能な外管と、
前記内管及び外管の近位端側に配置され、前記内管に対して前記外管を近位端側へ相対移動可能な駆動手段と、を備え、
前記駆動手段の動作に伴って、前記内管と前記外管との間に、近位端側から遠位端方向へ液体が流通されるステントデリバリーカテーテルであって、
前記内管の近位端側及び前記外管の近位端側を収納し、前記外管が軸方向に相対移動可能に嵌挿されるとともに、前記駆動手段が取り付けられたハウジングを具備し、
該ハウジング内には、液体を貯蔵するためのシリンダーと、該シリンダー内において前記シリンダーに対して軸方向に相対移動可能に設けられるとともに、前記外管に固定されたプランジャーとが設けられ、
前記駆動手段の動作により、前記外管が前記内管に対して相対的に近位端側に移動すると、前記プランジャーが前記シリンダー内の液体を押圧し、その圧力によって、前記内管と前記外管との間に、近位端側から遠位端方向へ液体が流通されるステントデリバリーカテーテル。 - 前記駆動手段は、
前記外管の近位端部に固定されるとともに、前記ハウジングに対して軸方向に相対移動可能である駆動シャフトと、
通孔を有し、該通孔に前記駆動シャフトが挿通されることによって前記駆動シャフトに軸方向に移動自在に装着され、前記駆動シャフトの軸芯に対して傾斜することにより前記駆動シャフトに係止する駆動板と、
前記ハウジングの軸芯から一定距離離隔した位置にある支点のまわりに回動自在に取り付けられ、回動されることによって前記駆動板を近位端側に向かって押圧する駆動レバーと、
を備え、
該駆動レバーは、前記駆動板を近位端側に向かって押圧することにより、前記駆動板を傾斜させて前記駆動シャフトに係止させ、さらに前記駆動シャフト及び該駆動シャフトに固定された前記外管を、前記駆動板と共に近位端側に移動させる請求項1に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。 - 前記内管は、円筒状の内管本体と、この内管本体の遠位端側に設けられ、前記外管の遠位端から突出する突出部とを備え、
前記内管本体は、円筒状の本体部と、この本体部の遠位端側に設けられ、前記ステントを配置するために前記本体部より細径に形成された細径部とを備え、
前記突出部は、前記細径部に連なるように設けられるとともに、遠位端側に向かうに連れて拡径するテーパが形成されたテーパ部と、このテーパ部の遠位端側の先端部とを備え、
前記テーパ部のテーパ表面には、前記内管の軸方向に沿った方向に延びる溝が形成されている請求項1に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。 - 前記溝は、近位端側に向かうにつれて幅が広くなるように形成されている請求項3に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。
- 前記溝は、前記テーパ部の遠位端から近位端まで連続して延びている請求項3に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。
- 前記溝が複数である請求項3に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。
- 複数の溝は、前記内管本体の軸芯を中心とした円周方向に等間隔で設けられている請求項6に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。
- 複数の溝が全て同一形状である請求項6に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。
- 前記内管本体と前記突出部とが別体である請求項3に記載のステントデリバリーカテーテル。
- 前記外管は、高分子材料からなる樹脂層と、この樹脂層に埋設され、複数本の線材を螺旋状に編組してなる管状の編組体と、を備え、
