Description

In the present invention, first and second decorative bands arranged in a circumferential direction are arranged on an annular decorative band provided on at least one surface of a pair of sidewalls, and the first decorative band is adjacent to the periphery. A first background portion having a surface roughness rougher than the portion, and a first mark portion disposed in the first background portion and having a smoother surface roughness than the first background portion. Regarding a pneumatic tire composed of two background portions and a second mark portion having a surface roughness rougher than that of the second background portion disposed therein, in particular, processing of a mold for vulcanizing the tire It is related with the thing which can improve productivity in.

。   In order to display the tire's trademark, trade dress, etc., a mark consisting of letters, symbols or figures is formed on the sidewall, and the purpose was to make these marks stand out. The following tires are known (for example, refer to Patent Document 1).

FIG. 1 is a side view showing such a conventional tire, FIG. 2A is a cross-sectional view corresponding to the arrow a 1 -a 1 in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2B is b 1 in FIG. sectional view corresponding to -b 1 arrow, FIG. 2 (c), cross-sectional view corresponding to c 1 -c 1 arrow in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2 (d), in FIG. 1 d 1 -d 1 is a cross-sectional view corresponding to one arrow view. The tire 90 includes a first background portion 92 in a first background portion 92 in which a large number of ridges 98 and 98A are arranged in the circumferential direction on the surface of the sidewall 91 to roughen the surface. In the first decorative band 94 in which the first mark portion 93 whose surface roughness is smoother than the portion 92 and the second background portion 95 connected to the adjacent surrounding portion at the same height in the thickness direction, An annular decorative band 99 is formed by arranging the second decorative band 97 having the second mark portion 96 having a surface roughness rougher than that of the second background part 95 in the circumferential direction. As it is composed, the difference in surface roughness can enhance its visibility by representing the mark.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-193922

However, in such a tire, the second mark portion 96 has a large difference in height from the outer region of the second background portion 95. If the difference in the tire thickness direction is large in this way, vulcanization is performed. There was a risk that the rubber flow at the time would deteriorate and bear would occur.

Further, the tire described above has a problem as described below. The tire vulcanization mold for forming the tire 90 is a surface including the highest part in the mold thickness direction, that is, the lowest part in the thickness direction of the tire in the tire as a primary processing in the production thereof. After the processing tool is moved at high speed to the surface including the part corresponding to, the entire tire forming surface of the mold is processed into a smooth flat surface or a curved surface to form the primary processing surface, In general, a secondary process is performed to obtain a final surface shape.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a tire vulcanization mold that forms the surface of such a tire 90, and FIG. 3A shows a mold portion corresponding to the first background portion 92 of the first decorative strip 94. 82, and FIG. 3B shows a mold portion 85 corresponding to the second background portion 95 of the second decorative band 97, but the lowest portion in the tire thickness direction in the tire 90 shown in FIG. , The lowest point P 0 in the thickness direction of the first background portion 92, and the highest point in the thickness direction of the tire vulcanizing mold 80 corresponding to this is P 1 in FIG. In processing such a tire mold 20, the primary processing for processing up to the surface 86 including the point P 1 is performed, and then the ridge 98 is formed. Secondary machining is performed up to point Q 1 on the mold 80 corresponding to the highest point Q 0 .

Similarly, the sidewall portion outside the first decorative strip 94 is located at a position equal to or higher than the highest point Q 0 in the tire width direction of the first decorative strip as the height in the tire thickness direction. Also, for example, the point S 1 on the mold 80 corresponding to the point S 0 on the second background portion 95 is on a surface lower than the surface 86 in the mold thickness direction. Therefore, as the secondary processing, it was necessary to further process the entire surface by the thickness a.

The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and reduces the possibility of occurrence of bears in a tire in which the first decorative band and the second decorative band as described above are arranged in the circumferential direction. At the same time, it aims to improve the productivity of mold processing.

<1> arranges the first and second decorative bands arranged in the circumferential direction on the annular decorative band provided on at least one surface of the pair of sidewalls, and the first decorative band is adjacent to the periphery. The first background portion having a rougher surface roughness than the portion to be formed, and the first mark portion having a surface roughness smoother than the first background portion, disposed therein, the second decorative band, In the pneumatic tire constituted by the second background part and the second mark part having a rougher surface roughness than the second background part,
The thickness direction highest part of the second background portion of the second decorative band is made lower than the surroundings,
In the pneumatic tire, the surface of the second background portion is a smooth surface, and the surface is flush with the lowest portion of the first background portion.

Here, the mark means a character, a symbol, a figure, and a combination thereof. Further, in this specification, “surface roughness” or “surface roughness” means the following formula (1) using the average interval Sm and ten-point average roughness Rz defined by JIS B 0601. ) To (3) are defined by the value of Rz in a range satisfying all of the above, and the surface having the larger Rz is said to be “rough”.

Sm (mm) ≦ 3 (1)
Rz (μm) ≦ 3000 (2)
Rz (μm) / Sm (mm) ≧ 100 (3)

And according to this definition, it is possible to roughen the surface roughness by applying sandy or satin treatment to a smooth surface, but it is also possible to roughen the surface roughness by arranging ridges usually called ridges. Can do.

<2> is a pneumatic tire according to <1>, wherein the lowest portion in the thickness direction of the first background portion is lower than a portion adjacent to the periphery of the first background portion.

< 3 > is a pneumatic tire obtained by separating the first decorative band and the second decorative band from each other in <1> or <2> .

< 4 > is a pneumatic tire according to any one of <1> to < 3 >, wherein a ridge is arranged on the first background portion so that the surface roughness of the background portion is made rougher than the adjacent surrounding portion. is there.

< 5 > is a pneumatic product according to any one of <1> to < 4 >, wherein a ridge is arranged on the second mark portion to make the surface roughness of the mark portion rougher than that of the second background portion. Tire.

< 6 > is any one of <1> to < 5 >, wherein a plurality of the first and second decorative bands are arranged, and the surface roughness of the first and second background portions in each of them is mutually This is a pneumatic tire characterized by being different.

According to <1>, since the thickness direction highest part of the second background part of the second decorative band is made lower than the surroundings, the thickness of the second mark part and the outer part of the second background part The probability of bear generation can be reduced by reducing the direction height difference, and as will be described in detail later, when forming this tire mold, secondary processing is performed after the primary processing. The amount of processing can be reduced, and the productivity in processing the mold can be improved . Also, according to <1>, the surface of the second background portion is a smooth surface, and the surface is the same height as the lowest portion of the first background portion. The mold part corresponding to the second background part can be finished only by the primary processing, and the productivity of the mold processing can be further improved.

<2> According to <2>, since the lowest thickness direction portion of the first background portion is lower than the portion adjacent to the periphery of the first background portion, the portion adjacent to the periphery of the first background portion is the tire surface. When taken as the reference height, the difference in height with respect to the reference height of the first mark portion positioned higher than the lowest thickness direction portion of the first background portion can be made small. Can be reduced.

According to < 3 >, since the first decorative band and the second decorative band are spaced apart from each other, even if the first decorative band and the second decorative band are close to each other in the circumferential direction, these decorative bands The bands can be clearly distinguished from each other, and the visibility of the mark can be improved.

According to < 4 >, since the surface roughness of the background portion is made rougher than the adjacent peripheral portion by arranging the ridges on the first background portion, the surface is made by other methods such as corrosion processing. Compared to the case of roughening, it is easy to keep the processing accuracy of the mold constant, and the difference in the reflection of light between the first background portion and the surrounding area can be made clearer and the design can be improved.

According to < 5 >, the surface roughness of the mark portion is made rougher than that of the second background portion by arranging ridges in the second mark portion. In comparison, it is easy to keep the processing accuracy of the mold constant, and it is possible to improve the design by making the difference in light reflection between the first background portion and its surroundings clearer.

According to < 6 >, a plurality of the first and second decorative bands are arranged, and the surface roughness of the first and second background portions is different from each other. In any of the second decorative bands, the decorative bands can be clearly distinguished from each other even if these decorative bands are arranged close to each other in the circumferential direction, and visibility can be improved.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Figure 4 is a side view of the tire of the present embodiment, FIG. 5 (a) is a cross-sectional view corresponding to a 2 -a 2 arrow in FIG. 4, FIG. 5 (b), in FIG. 4 b 2 - sectional view corresponding to b 2 arrow, FIG. 5 (c), cross-sectional view corresponding to c 2 -c 2 arrow in FIG. 4, and FIG. 5 (d) is d 2 -d 2 of FIG. 4 It is sectional drawing corresponding to an arrow view, and this tire 10 includes a first background portion in the first background portion 2 in which a large number of ridges 8 and 8A are arranged in the circumferential direction on the surface of the sidewall 1 to roughen the surface. The first decorative band 4 in which the first mark portion 3 having a smoother surface roughness than 2 and the second background portion 5 connected to the adjacent peripheral portion at the same height in the thickness direction are The second decorative band 7 having the second mark portion 6 having a rougher surface roughness than the two background portions 5 is arranged in the circumferential direction to form the annular decorative band 9, and the difference in surface roughness To enhance the visibility of the mark by representing the more the mark.

FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view showing a tire vulcanization mold 20 that forms the surface of such a tire 10, and FIG. 6A shows a mold corresponding to the first background portion 2 of the first decorative strip 4. FIG. 6B shows a mold portion 25 corresponding to the second background portion 5 of the second decorative band 7, but the lowest portion in the tire thickness direction in the tire 10 shown in FIG. 5. Is the lowest point P 0 in the thickness direction of the first background portion 2, and the highest point in the thickness direction of the tire vulcanizing mold 20 corresponding to this is P 1 in FIG. Therefore, when the mold 20 of the tire 10 is processed, the first background portion 2 is formed in order to form the ridge 8 after performing the primary processing for processing up to the surface 26 including the point P 1 . Secondary processing is performed in which processing is performed up to point Q 1 on the mold 20 corresponding to the thickness direction maximum point Q 0 .

The feature of the present invention is that the second background portion 5 of the second decorative band 7 is made lower in the tire thickness direction than the surroundings (for example, by the dimension b in the case of the one shown in FIG. 5C). With this, the difference in height of the second mark portion 6 with respect to the outer region 11 of the second background portion 5 can be reduced to reduce the occurrence of bears.

Also, the above is the difference between the height of the mold part P 1 corresponding to the tire thickness direction lowest point P 0 of the first background part 2 and the mold part T 1 corresponding to the second background part 5 ( c-b) can also be reduced, which can reduce the amount of secondary processing.

Further, preferably, the height in the tire width direction of the point T 1 on the mold part 25 corresponding to the second background part 5 is made the same as that of the mold part P 1 corresponding to the first background part 2, that is, It is preferable that b = c, and this allows the primary processing surface 26 by the primary processing to be the mold portion 25 corresponding to the second background portion 5, and the secondary of this portion is secondary. By eliminating processing, the productivity of mold processing can be greatly improved.

Here, it is preferable that the first decorative band 4 and the second decorative band 7 are separated from each other as shown in the drawing, and this makes it possible to further improve the visibility of the mark.

As a method of roughening the surface roughness of the first background portion 2 or the second mark portion 6 from the surroundings, the surface of the tire corresponding to the die surface is roughened by surface-processing the die 20 with blasting or the like. However, as in the example shown in the figure, it is preferable that the surface is formed by arranging ridges 8 or 8A inclined with respect to the tire radial direction. In the tire, the contrast of the surface on which the ridge 8 or 8A is provided and the reflection of light from other surfaces adjacent to the surface can be increased. This can contribute to further improvement.

The present invention can be suitably used for tires of various types and applications.
