Claims (4)
- 発光に水銀や蛍光体を用いない無電極形の放電ランプユニットであって、放電管に希ガスを封入した放電ランプと、前記放電管の外周に巻回された誘導コイルと、前記誘導コイルに高周波電流を供給する高周波電源装置とを備え、前記誘導コイルに生じた磁界で前記希ガスをプラズマ化して発光させる放電ランプユニットにおいて、
前記希ガスがキセノンガスであり、且つ前記放電管への封入圧が25〜65Paの範囲であることを特徴とする放電ランプユニット。 - 発光に水銀や蛍光体を用いない無電極形の放電ランプユニットであって、放電管に希ガスを封入した放電ランプと、前記放電管の外周に巻回された誘導コイルと、前記誘導コイルに高周波電流を供給する高周波電源装置とを備え、前記誘導コイルに生じた磁界で前記希ガスをプラズマ化して発光させる放電ランプユニットにおいて、
前記希ガスがアルゴンガスであり、且つ前記放電管への封入圧が150〜1000Paの範囲であることを特徴とする放電ランプユニット。 - 前記放電管に互いに対向する一対の補助電極を取り付けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の放電ランプユニット。
- 前記誘導コイルを絶縁物で被覆すると共に、放電管に対して二重以上に重ねて巻回したことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の放電ランプユニット。
