Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-48708

In this conventional antenna, during use, wind pressure is applied to the boom and the antenna element due to strong wind or wind blowing, and the screws of the fasteners securing the director to the boom may be loosened. is there. Furthermore, if this state continues due to use over time, the seats, antenna elements, presser pieces, etc. in the director are repeatedly lifted, finally the fasteners are released and the director blows away, resulting in the gain of a given antenna Cannot be obtained and cannot be used.
This problem is the same when the boom is provided with a reflector.

The purpose of the present application is to provide an antenna that can be used for a long life with the waveguide remaining in the boom even when the fastener that is fixing the waveguide to the boom is removed due to aging. It is something to try.
Another object is to reduce the thickness of the base member in the waveguide, to reduce the weight of the waveguide, to reduce the weight of the entire antenna, and to receive the wind pressure on the waveguide with a small bulk. An object of the present invention is to provide an antenna that has a small area and can reduce the load on the boom.
Another object is to provide an antenna that can be easily and quickly inserted when the boom is inserted into the holding hole of the director in the work of assembling the director to the boom manually. It is.
Other objects and advantages will be readily apparent from the drawings and the following description associated therewith.

The antenna in the present invention is
An antenna 1 including a boom 2 and a plurality of directors 6 supported by the boom 2,
Each waveguide 6 mentioned above, the base member 7 for attaching to each boom 2,
In the antenna 1 having elements 25 that protrude in opposite directions from both sides of the base member 7 and in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the boom 2,
At the center of each group member 7, in order to penetrate the boom 2, is provided with a Body suffers hole 10 having an inner diameter that is slightly larger dimension than the outside diameter D1 of the boom 2,
A state in which the abutment surface 19 is along the peripheral surface of the boom 2 at the upper end of each base member 6 and at a position immediately above the holding hole 10 with the boom 2 passing through the holding hole 10. let includes a projecting member 18 projecting from the eaves to the axial direction of the boom so that,
Each overhang member 18 is provided with a through-hole 20 for allowing the fastener 30 to pass therethrough,
On the other hand, at the planned positions where the respective directors 6 should be fixed in the boom 2, the through holes 3 are provided at positions corresponding to the through holes 20 provided in the respective extending members 18, respectively.
The extension members 18 are fastened to the boom 2 with the fasteners 30 that pass through the through holes 20 of the extension members 18 and the respective through holes 3 provided in the boom 2. The base member 6 is fixed .

As described above, according to the present invention, the holding hole 10 having an inner diameter corresponding to the outer peripheral surface 2a of the boom 2 is provided in the central portion of the base member 7 in the director 6, and the entire periphery of the boom 2 is held and stopped. Since it is worn, there is an advantage that the burden ratio with respect to the fastener 30 becomes extremely small. Further, even when the fastener 30 for fixing the director 6 to the boom 2 is removed due to use over time, The director 6 has a feature that the plane orthogonal to the axial direction with respect to the boom 2 is maintained, the director 6 remains in the boom 2, and the antenna can be used for a long life.

Further, in the present invention, the projecting member 18 of the base member 7 is projected in a hook shape in the axial direction of the boom so that a sufficient surface area for tightening the boom 2 with the fastening tool 30 is created. Therefore, there is an advantage that the thickness of the base member 7 can be reduced and the weight of the waveguide 6 can be reduced. This has the effect of reducing the overall weight of the antenna.
In addition, since the plate thickness of the base member 7 can be reduced as described above, the area of receiving the wind pressure can be reduced by making the waveguide 6 small in volume, reducing the burden caused by the wind pressure on the boom, and causing damage to the boom. There is also an effect on use that can reduce the fear.

Further, in the present invention, the projecting member 10 in the base member 7 is projected in a hook shape in the axial direction of the boom in a state of being along the outer peripheral surface of the boom 2. When the boom 2 is inserted into the holding hole 10 of the director, the tip of the boom 2 can be positioned with respect to the holding hole 10 by positioning the tip of the boom 2 with the overhanging member 10 as a support. If 2 is advanced in the axial direction, the boom 2 can be inserted into the holding hole 10, so that there is an operational effect that allows the insertion operation to be performed quickly.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an antenna, which includes a known boom 2 formed in a hollow shape and a waveguide 6 supported by the boom 2. The illustrated antenna 1 is a UHF antenna used for receiving digital terrestrial broadcasting, 4 is a radiator, and 5 is a reflector. The radiator 4, the reflector 5, and the plurality of waveguides 6 are arranged on the boom at predetermined intervals in the axial direction of the boom 2.

The waveguide 6 intersects with a base member 7 to be attached to the boom 2 and in directions opposite to each other from both sides of the base member 7 and in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the boom 2 (substantially orthogonal). Element 25, 25 projecting in the direction).
The base member 7 is formed of a synthetic resin material as is well known, and is formed in a plate shape as illustrated. As shown in FIG. 2, the base member 7 is formed by integrally fixing two members, a plate-like main body 8 and a plate-like lid body 9.
A holding hole 10 having an inner diameter corresponding to the outer peripheral surface 2 a of the boom 2 is provided at the center of the plate surface 7 b of the base member 7. The inner diameter D2 of the holding hole 10 is set to be slightly larger than the outer diameter D1 of the boom so that the boom 2 can be inserted into the holding hole 10 (see FIGS. 2A and 3). Furthermore, the shape of the peripheral surface 11 of the holding hole 10 is such that the boom 2 is lightly in contact with the boom peripheral surface in a state of being inserted into the boom 2, so that integrity in the radial direction from the shaft center 2 b can be obtained. The shape corresponds to the outer peripheral surface 2a (see FIG. 2A).

Reference numeral 14 denotes a holding portion for integrally fixing elements 25 and 25 described later provided on both ends of the base member 7. Reference numeral 15 shown in FIG. 4 denotes a recess formed on the main body 8 side of the base member 7, which latches the base portion 25 d of the element 25 so that the element 25 can be prevented from coming off in the direction of the arrow 39. Reference numeral 16 denotes a notch in which the gripping portions 14 at both ends are formed along the shape of the element 25, and can reduce the wind pressure receiving area of the base member 7.

Next, at the upper end portion 7a of the base member 7 and directly above the holding hole 10 (upward position in the antenna installation state as shown in FIG. 1B), the peripheral surface 2a of the boom 2 is placed. A projecting member 18 is provided that projects in a hook shape in the axial direction of the boom in a state in which the boom is aligned. The overhang member 18 is formed of an integral material with the main body 8 of the base member 7, and the overhang dimension L <b> 2 is a fastening tool 30 (screw rod 30 a, butterfly screw 30 b or rivet 30 c) with respect to the boom 2. The dimensions are set so that a sufficient surface area can be created for use and tightening. Thereby, the plate | board thickness dimension L1 of the base member 7 can be set thinly. (For example, plate thickness L1 of base member 7: 10 mm, overhang L2: 13 mm)
Reference numeral 19 denotes a contact surface formed on the lower surface of the overhanging member 18, and is formed in a concave shape along the peripheral surface 2 a of the boom 2 inserted through the holding hole 10 as clearly shown in FIGS. .
Reference numeral 20 denotes a through-hole illustrated as an attachment portion provided in the overhang member 18, and is used for passing through the screw rod 30 a and fastening to the boom 2.
In addition, although the screw rod 30a was illustrated as the fastening tool 30, as shown in FIG. 3 (B), the overhang member 18 and the boom 2 are fixed by caulking means using a rivet 30c. May be. Furthermore, a metal material or a plastic material may be used as the material of the fastener 30.
Next, the contact surface 19 may be formed in an arc shape corresponding to the shape of the peripheral surface 2a of the boom 2 as shown in FIG.

Element 25 represents a widely known loop antenna. 25a is an upper waveguide element that is long in the horizontal direction, 25b is a lower waveguide element that is disposed substantially in parallel below the upper radiating element 25a, and 25c is a side that connects both ends of the upper radiating element 25a and the lower waveguide element 25b. The upper waveguide element 25a and the lower waveguide element 25b are arranged in a stack.
The side waveguide element 25c is provided as necessary, and may be omitted. Then, the side waveguide element 25c in FIGS. 4A and 4B does not exist. In this way, both end portions of the upper radiating element 25a and the lower waveguide element 25b may be free ends (open ends).
The element 25 is formed by bending a metal rod having a diameter of 3 mm into a predetermined length and connecting both ends thereof by welding means using a connecting member 27. However, as indicated by the wavy line in FIG. 2B, both ends of the metal rod may be directly connected by welding means without using the connecting member 27.
The element 25 may be formed of a conductive material, and may be formed of a metal pipe as is well known, or may be formed by pressing a conductive material. Further, a thin wire formed in a loop shape may be integrally formed with a resin.
Next, the example of fixing the element 25 to the base member 7 as described above with reference to FIG. 4 has been described. However, all of the base member 7 (the main body 8 and the lid body 9) and the element 25 are cast. May be integrally molded.

The operation of assembling the waveguide 6 with respect to the boom 2 by using the above-described configuration will be described.
First, as shown in FIG. 5, the waveguide 6 is positioned so that the overhanging member 18 is on the bottom. The tip of the boom 2 is placed on the contact surface 19 of the overhang member 18. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the boom 2 is positioned with respect to the holding hole 10. When the boom 2 is advanced in the axial direction (arrow 40 direction) as it is, the boom 2 is inserted through the holding hole 10 (a state indicated by a one-dot chain line shown in FIG. 5A).
When the boom 2 is continuously advanced to a position where the boom 6 is supported and fixed, the mounting hole 20 in the projecting member 18 and the through-hole 3 in the boom 2 are aligned with each other as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 3, 30a is passed through the through holes 3 and 3 of the boom 2, and tightened with a thumbscrew 30b . In this case, as shown in FIG. 3, the fastening tool 30 is in a state of sandwiching the upper surface of the overhang member 18 and the outer peripheral surface 2 a on the lower side of the boom 2, and the overhang member 18 and the boom 2. It is tightened.
Further, the same may be applied to the remaining waveguides (the remaining four in the case of the antenna 1 shown in FIG. 1).
As described above, when the boom 2 is inserted into the holding hole 10 of the director in the work of assembling the director to the boom 2, the tip of the boom 2 is placed on the contact surface 19 of the overhanging member 18. Since it can be inserted by simply pushing the boom 2 while supporting it, there is a feature that the insertion operation can be performed easily and quickly.
Note that the reflector 5 shown in FIG. 1 also has the above-described structure when the portion of the structure including the base member 7, the holding hole 10, and the overhanging member 18 of the above-described director 6 is configured based on the same idea. Can be solved. In that case, in the present specification, “waveguide” can be understood as “reflector”.
