Description
電源電圧により動作し、所定の周波数ののこぎり波電圧を生成して出力するRT/CT端子と、前記のこぎり波電圧と比較される比較電圧が入力されるCOMP端子と、前記のこぎり波電圧が前記比較電圧のレベルより高い区間でオフになり、前記のこぎり波電圧が前記比較電圧のレベルより低い区間でオンになるパルス信号を生成して出力する出力端子を有するPWM ICと、
前記PWM ICから出力される前記パルス信号に応じて外部から入力された直流電圧をスイッチングして、前記LEDアレイに駆動電圧として提供するスイッチング部と、
前記LEDアレイの両端電圧に該当する検出電圧を生成する電圧検出部と、
前記検出電圧と既設定の基準電圧とを比較して、その差に相当する第1の誤差電圧を出力する電圧比較部と、
前記誤差電圧が所定のレベル以下の場合、前記PWM ICの前記COMP端子に入力される前記比較電圧を実質的に0Vに設定する比較電圧設定部と、を含むことを特徴とするLED駆動装置を提供する。

Claims (2)
- 互いに電気的に接続した複数のLEDを含むLEDアレイと、
電源電圧により動作し、所定の周波数ののこぎり波電圧を生成して出力するRT/CT端子と、前記のこぎり波電圧と比較される比較電圧が入力されるCOMP端子と、前記のこぎり波電圧が前記比較電圧のレベルより高い区間でオフになり、前記のこぎり波電圧が前記比較電圧のレベルより低い区間でオンになるパルス信号を生成して出力する出力端子を有するPWM ICと、
前記PWM ICから出力される前記パルス信号に応じて外部から入力された直流電圧をスイッチングして、前記LEDアレイに駆動電圧として提供するスイッチング部と、
前記LEDアレイの両端電圧に該当する検出電圧を生成する電圧検出部と、
反転入力端に入力された前記検出電圧と、非反転入力端に入力された基準電圧とを比較して、2つの入力端の差に相当する誤差電圧を出力する第1のOPアンプを含む電圧比較部と、
前記誤差電圧が所定のレベル以下の場合、前記PWM ICの前記COMP端子に入力される前記比較電圧を前記のこぎり波電圧の下限よりも小さいレベルに設定する比較電圧設定部とを含み、
前記比較電圧設定部は、
前記第1のOPアンプの出力端にカソードが接続された第1のダイオードと、
前記電源電圧に一方が接続され、前記第1のダイオードのアノードに他方が接続されたレジスタと、
前記第1のダイオードのアノードに非反転入力端が接続され、非反転入力端と出力端とが電気的に接続されて、非反転入力端の入力電圧と同じレベルの出力を有する第2のOPアンプと、
前記第2のOPアンプの出力端にベースが接続され、前記PWM ICのCOMP端子にエミッタが接続され、接地にコレクタが接続されたPNPトランジスタと
を含むことを特徴とするLED駆動装置。 - 前記LED駆動装置は、外部から入力される線形調光信号(Dimming Signal)又は/及びPWM調光信号に相応するレベルの電圧を非反転入力端に入力され、前記LEDアレイのカソード端から出力される電流に相応するレベルの電圧を反転入力端に入力され、前記2つの入力端に入力される電圧のレベルを比較して、その差に相当する第2の誤差電圧を出力端に出力する第3のOPアンプをさらに含み、
前記比較電圧設定部は、前記第3のOPアンプの出力端にカソードが接続され、前記第1のダイオードのアノードにアノードが接続された第2のダイオードをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED駆動装置。
