Claims (4)
- 一端面と該一端面に対向する他端面とで区画される合口部を有する金属製のリング本体に、前記一端面に接続し前記他端面に当接する樹脂部を一体的に形成してなるピストンリングであって、
該樹脂部は、無機充填材を1〜50質量%含有する樹脂層と該無機充填材を含まない樹脂単体層との積層構造からなり、
無機充填材を1〜50質量%含有する樹脂層側が合口部の一端面に接続されていることで、金属製のリング本体と無機充填材を含まない樹脂単体層との間の線膨張係数の急激な変化を緩和して線膨張係数を段階的に変化させたことを特徴とするピストンリング。 - 前記樹脂は、ポリイミド樹脂である請求項1に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記樹脂部は、前記合口部が最大隙間となる組み付け状態で前記他端面に当接する請求項1又は2に記載のピストンリング。
- 前記一端面は該一端面に凸部または凹部を有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のピストンリング。
