Description
図1には、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤの製造方法によって得られた空気入りタイヤ1の断面図を示す。該空気入りタイヤ1は、トレッド部2と、その両側からタイヤ半径方向内方にのびる一対のサイドウォール部3、3と、該サイドウォール部3の内方端に設けられかつ図示しないリムに装着されるビード部4、4とを含むトロイド状をなすとともに、タイヤ内腔面9に固着された発泡体からなる吸音具10を含んで構成される。

本発明では、中子12の凹溝20は、タイヤ半径方向内外に移動可能な溝底部23を具えている。即ち、凹溝20は、前記トレッド成形面18aを凹ませた環状にのびる凹部21と、該凹部21に嵌め込まれた膨張具22とを含み、この膨張具22を膨張又は収縮させることにより、凹溝20の溝底部23を半径方向内外に移動させ得る。
発泡材料の厚さ:10mm
発泡材料の体積:945000mm3
発泡材料の配合:表1の通り
(発泡材料は円周方向に連続して巻き付けられた。)
凹溝の最大溝幅:60mm
凹溝の最大深さ:20mm
凹溝の容積:2170000mm3
テストの結果を表2に示す。

Claims (2)
- トレッド部のタイヤ内腔面側に、発泡体からなりかつタイヤ周方向にのびる吸音具が設けられた空気入りタイヤを製造する空気入りタイヤの製造方法であって、
環状をなす生タイヤ成形用の中子を用いて未加硫の生タイヤを形成する生タイヤ成形工程と、この生タイヤを加硫する加硫工程とを含み、
前記中子は、トレッド部のタイヤ内腔面を成形するトレッド成形面に、タイヤ周方向にのびる少なくとも1本の凹溝が設けられるとともに、
前記生タイヤは、タイヤ周方向にのびる未発泡状態の発泡材料が、前記凹溝内に隙間を有して配されてなり、しかも
前記加硫工程では、前記生タイヤを前記中子とともに加硫することにより、前記発泡材料を前記凹溝の断面形状に発泡させて前記吸音具を成形するとともに、
前記中子の前記凹溝は、タイヤ半径方向内外に移動可能な溝底部を具え、
前記生タイヤ成形工程が、前記溝底部をタイヤ半径方向外側に位置させた浅溝状態で行われるとともに、前記加硫工程が、前記溝底部をタイヤ半径方向内側に位置させた深溝状態で行われることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤの製造方法。 - 前記溝底部は、内部に流体が出入りすることによって膨張及び収縮しうる膨張具の外表面によって形成される請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤの製造方法。
