Claims (2)
- 液晶層ならびに分散配置された光センサを備えた液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルの背面側に設けられ、可視光源を備えたバックライトと、
前記可視光源から出射した可視光が前記液晶層を通過後、撮像対象に遮断もしくは反射して前記光センサに受光されたとき受光量に基づいて、当該撮像対象の画像入力を行う画像入力手段と、
前記可視光の光強度を変化させうるバックライト制御手段と、
環境光の照度を測定する照度測定手段と、
前記照度測定手段により測定された照度により、環境光の照度低下を検出したときは、前記バックライト制御手段をして可視光の光強度を弱めることにより、前記液晶パネルの輝度を低下させる液晶パネル輝度制御手段とを備え、
前記バックライトは、前記液晶パネルの輝度の低下によって可視光の受光量が低下することとなる前記光センサに受光されうる非可視光を出射する非可視光源を備え、
前記バックライト制御手段は、
環境光の照度低下時における前記液晶パネル輝度制御手段からの指示の到来により非可視光を出射させるまたは非可視光の光強度を強める一方、当該指示の到来前において非可視光の出射を停止させておくまたは非可視光の光強度を弱めておく
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記非可視光のピーク波長が760nm以上かつ1000nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶表示装置。
