Claims (7)
- インペラを具備し、このインペラは、ハウジング内で、前記インペラ上にあるいはその中に配された磁石と前記ハウジング上にあるいはその中に配されたステータとの相互作用によって磁気的に回転させられるよう構成されてなる軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプであって、
前記インペラは、少なくとも一つの支持リングと、中心シャフトおよび前記支持リングと前記中心シャフトとの間で延在する離間した複数のブレードと、前記インペラの回転軸線に関して少なくとも軸方向および半径方向に作用を及ぼす流体式ベアリングと、を具備してなり、
前記流体式ベアリングは、前記支持リング上に、あるいは前記支持リングと一体に配置された傾斜パッドによって形成され、各傾斜パッドは、前記ハウジングの内面と協動するように、前記インペラの前記回転軸線に対して0°と90°との間の角度をなして傾斜した面を有し、
上記各傾斜パッドの間にチャネルが形成されていることを特徴とする軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。 - 各傾斜パッドは前記インペラの前記回転軸線に対して約45°の面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。
- 前記流体式ベアリングは専ら前記インペラを空隙内で浮遊させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。
- 前記ブレードは、ポンプから流れ出る血液を整流するために、ピッチが減少するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。
- 作動時、前記インペラは、その外面周りの逆行血液流にさらされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。
- 前記各傾斜パッドは、前記インペラの回転方向とは反対回りの角度で延在していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5の何れか1項に記載の軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。
- 前記各傾斜パッドと前記ハウジングの最内面との間に、間隙が形成され、
上記間隙は、血球の排出する小ささであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6の何れか1項に記載の軸流ロータリー式血液ポンプ。
