Claims (3)
- レーザー光が球体に装着された逆反射器(SMR)のウインドウを通過することに起因する光路誤差と直交誤差を一部補償するために前記逆反射器内のキューブコーナー反射器の頂点の奥行き配置を調整する方法であって、
求める奥行きdの値を複数選択するステップであって、ここで奥行きdは前記逆反射器の中心から前記キューブコーナー頂点までの距離と定義される、ステップと、
前記ウインドウの前記レーザー光の入射角度A1の範囲を選択するステップと、
値dごとに、前記選択された入射角度の範囲にわたる前記入射角度A1の関数である、前記ウインドウによる光路誤差ΔRと直交誤差ΔDとを計算するステップと、
前記計算の結果に基づき前記光路誤差ΔRと前記直交誤差ΔDの両者の誤差のうちの最小絶対値を含む奥行きdの値を選択するステップと、
前記球体に装着された逆反射器(SMR)内の前記キューブコーナーの頂点の奥行きを前記選択されたdの値に調整するステップと、を含み、
前記光路誤差ΔRを計算するステップは、特定の奥行きdおよび特定の入射角度A 1 に対して、さらに、
第1の式ΔR=2[nT/cos(A 2 )+H/cos(A 1 )−(nT+H+L)]を用いて開始するステップであり、ここでTは前記ウインドウの厚さ、nは前記ウインドウの屈折率、Hは前記ウインドウの内部端から前記キューブコーナー頂点までの距離である、ステップと、
第2の式L=(T+H−d)/cos(A 1 )−(T+H−d)を代入することによって前記第1の式からLを消去するステップと、
第3の式sin(A 2 )=sin(A 1 )/nを用いて前記第1の式と前記第2の式の組み合わせから前記数値A 2 を消去して、前記数値Hを消去することでΔRについての式を得るステップと、
前記ΔRについての式へ値T、n、dを代入してΔRの値を得るステップと、を含み、
前記直交誤差ΔDを計算するステップは、特定の奥行きdおよび特定の入射角度A 1 に対して、さらに、
第1の式ΔD=Tsin(A 1 −A 2 )/cos(A 2 )−dsin(A 1 )を用いて開始するステップと、
第2の式sin(A 2 )=sin(A 1 )/nを代入することによって前記第1の式から前記数値A 2 を消去してΔDについての式を得るステップと、
前記ΔDについての式へT、nの値を代入してΔDの値を得るステップと、を含み、
ここでTは前記ウインドウの厚さ、nは前記ウインドウの屈折率である方法。 - 前記奥行きdは、T(1−1/n)kと等しく設定され、
