Description
Claims (10)
- 記憶媒体にて使用される記録ヘッドであって、
磁極と、
該磁極の第1の側に位置された第1の磁気バイアス構造と、
該第1の側とは反対側である該磁極の第2の側に配置された第2の磁気バイアス構造と、
前記磁極と前記第1の磁気バイアス構造との間および前記磁極と前記第2の磁気バイアス構造との間に配置されたスペーサと、
前記第1と第2の磁気バイアス構造を端部上に位置する基板と、
前記第1と第2の磁気バイアス構造の側面に延在して配置されたソフト磁気シールドと、
を含み、前記スペーサは更に前記磁極と前記ソフト磁気シールドとの間にも配置されている記録ヘッド。 - 請求項1記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記スペーサは前記磁極および前記第1および第2の磁気バイアス構造が磁気分離されるように非磁性である記録ヘッド。
- 請求項1記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記第1および第2の磁気バイアス構造は、シード層、ハード磁性膜層、およびスペーサ層を含む記録ヘッド。
- 請求項1記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記第1および第2の磁気バイアス構造は、シード層、反強磁性層、および強磁性層を含む記録ヘッド。
- 記憶媒体にて使用される記録ヘッドであって、
磁極と、
該磁極の第1の側に配置された第1の磁気バイアス構造と、
該第1の側とは反対側である該磁極の第2の側に配置された第2の磁気バイアス構造と、
前記磁極の前記第1および第2の側にそれぞれ該磁極に隣り合うように配置された第1および第2のソフト磁気シールドと、
前記磁極と前記第1のソフト磁気シールドとの間および前記磁極と前記第2のソフト磁気シールドとの間に配置されたスペーサと、
前記第1と第2の磁気バイアス構造および第1と第2のソフト磁気シールドを端部上に位置する基板と、
を含む記録ヘッド。 - 請求項1記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、
前記基板は前記磁極に結合された後方端を有し、
前記磁極の磁極先端の磁界を配向するようになされたコイル、
を備えた記録ヘッド。 - 請求項6記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記第1と第2の磁気バイアス構造をそれぞれ前記基板の後方端に結合させた記録ヘッド。
- 請求項6記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記第1および第2の磁気バイアス構造はバイアス・コイルを含む記録ヘッド。
- 請求項6記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記第1および第2の磁気バイアス構造は、前記磁極先端の磁界を前記基板の後方端とほぼ平行となるように配向させるようになされた記録ヘッド。
- 請求項6記載の記録ヘッドにおいて、前記第1および第2の磁気バイアス構造は、前記磁極の磁界が前記基板の後方端にほぼ垂直となるように配向させるようになされた記録ヘッド。
