Description
A:組成が6.0wt%Co、0.23wt%TaC、0.16%NbC、93.6%WCである超硬合金工具インサートを、本発明の超微粒fccコバルトであってCo-fcc(200)/Co-hcp(101)比が2.12、FSSS値が1.08μmであるコバルト素材を用いて製造した。コバルト素材を0.51のエタノール/水(90/10)混合物を用いてボールミルで25時間混練した。固形分の合計重量は1000gであった。得られた懸濁液を噴霧乾燥し、これにより造粒された粉末を一軸プレスで成形し、標準的な方法により焼結した。
A:組成が18%WC、12%NbC、30%TiC、26%TiN、14%Coであるサーメット粉末を、Co-fcc(200)/Co-hcp(101)比が2.24、FSSS値が1.45μmである本発明の特別微粒コバルトを用いて製造した。素材(1000g)を0.51のエタノール/水(90/10)混合物を用いてボールミルで25時間混練し、噴霧乾燥した。
A:組成が6.0wt%Co、0.23wt%TaC、0.16%NbC、93.6%WCである超硬合金粉末を、コバルト素材としてCo-fcc(200)/Co-hcp(101)比が2.12、FSSS値が1.08μmである本発明の超微粒fccコバルトを用いて製造した。粉末材料の合計重量は28kgであった。この粉末材料をボールミルで15時間混練し、得られた懸濁液を噴霧乾燥した。
Claims (14)
- 下記の工程:
硬質成分を形成する1種以上の粉末と、コバルト粉末を含んで成り結合相を形成する粉末とを、混練により混合する工程、
上記混練済混合物を造粒する工程、
上記造粒済混合物を加圧成形して成形体とする工程、および
上記成形体を焼結する工程
を含んで成る、焼結体の製造方法において、
上記コバルト粉末が:
Cu−Kα線を用いた2θ/θ集光型X線回折測定における基準線に対する最大ピーク高さで示したCo-fcc(200)/Co-hcp(101)のピーク高さ比が3/2以上であり、かつ
粉末粒径がFSSS値で0.2〜2.9μmである
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1において、上記ピーク高さ比が7/4以上であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1において、上記ピーク高さ比が2以上であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項において、添加するCo粉末の量が2〜30wt%であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項において、上記硬質成分の少なくとも1種が炭化タングステンであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項において、上記コバルト粉末がMgを100ppm以上含有することを特徴とする方法。
- 硬質成分とコバルトとを含み、焼結用の成形体を形成するための加圧成形用の粉末混合物において、
上記粉末混合物中の上記コバルトの粉末が:
Cu−Kα線を用いた2θ/θ集光型X線回折測定における基準線に対する最大ピーク高さで示したCo-fcc(200)/Co-hcp(101)のピーク高さ比が3/2以上であり、かつ
粉末粒径がFSSS値で0.2〜2.9μmである
ことを特徴とする粉末混合物。 - 請求項7において、上記ピーク高さ比が7/4以上であることを特徴とする粉末混合物。
- 請求項7において、上記ピーク高さ比が2以上であることを特徴とする粉末混合物。
- 請求項7から9までのいずれか1項において、上記粉末混合物中のコバルトの量が2〜30wt%であることを特徴とする粉末混合物。
- 請求項7から10までのいずれか1項において、上記硬質成分の少なくとも1種が炭化タングステンであることを特徴とする粉末混合物。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法により製造されたことを特徴とする焼結体。
- 請求項12において、コバルト含有量が2〜30wt%であることを特徴とする焼結体。
- 請求項7から11までのいずれか1項において、上記コバルト粉末がMgを100ppm以上含有することを特徴とする粉末混合物。
