Claims (5)
- 水素及び酸素により発電を行う燃料電池と、
水蒸気改質反応及び部分酸化反応により、前記燃料電池からの水分を含む排出ガス及び炭化水素系燃料から水素を含む改質ガスを生成し、前記改質ガスを前記燃料電池に供給する改質手段と、
前記改質手段に前記炭化水素系燃料を供給する燃料供給手段と、
前記改質手段に酸素を含むガスを供給する酸素供給手段と、
前記改質ガスの少なくとも一部および/または炭化水素系燃料により駆動する動力部と、
前記動力部の動作に必要な量の前記改質ガスを前記動力部に供給する改質ガス供給手段と、
前記水蒸気改質反応に必要な量の水蒸気が前記排出ガス中に含まれているか否かを判定する判定手段と、
制御手段とを備え、
前記制御手段は、前記判定手段により前記水蒸気改質反応に必要な量の水蒸気が前記排出ガス中に含まれていないと判定されれば、前記改質ガスを前記動力部に供給しない場合よりも前記改質手段に供給する酸素量の割合を増加させるように前記酸素供給手段及び前記燃料供給手段を制御することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 前記酸素供給手段は、前記燃料電池のカソードから排出されるカソードオフガスを前記改質手段へ供給することを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記燃料電池の電解質は、プロトン導電性を有し、
前記燃料電池からの水分を含む排出ガスは、前記燃料電池のカソードオフガスであることを特徴とする請求項2記載の燃料電池システム。 - 前記動力部は、前記改質ガスの少なくとも一部および/または炭化水素系燃料と空気とから混合気を作り出し、前記混合気を燃焼させる内燃機関であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記制御手段は、前記動力部への前記改質ガスの供給量に応じて前記動力部が希薄燃焼するように前記動力部の空燃比を制御することを特徴とする請求項4記載の燃料電池システム。
