本発明は、洗面化粧台用洗面器に関し、更に詳しくは排水管に結合される洗面化粧台用洗面器に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来この種の洗面器は、底面に排水口を有する鉢状のボール部と、このボール部の上縁部の周囲に水平状に形成された天面部とを備えてなるのが通例である。

又従来この種の洗面器としては、水栓取付け部の天面が、ボール部の側に下り勾配に形成されたものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで従来、水栓取付け部の天面をボール部の側に下り勾配に形成したこの種の洗面器においては、水栓取付け部の天面に、水栓の取付け孔を直接開口するのが通例であった。従って従来品を使用すると、水栓と水栓取付け部の天面との接合部に水が表面張力でとどまり易かったから、この箇所に水垢が付着したり、カビが発生し、不衛生になるのを避けられなかった。

本発明は、このような従来品の問題点に鑑み、提案されたものである。
従って本発明の技術的課題は、排水管に結合される洗面化粧台用洗面器において、水栓取付け部の天面と水栓との接合部に、水がとどまることを防止でき、この箇所に水垢が付着したり、カビが発生して不衛生になることを防止できるよう形成した洗面化粧台用洗面器を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上記の課題を解決するために、次のような技術的手段を採る。

即ち本発明は、図１、図４、図５等に示されるように、排水管１に結合される洗面化粧台用洗面器において、水栓取付け部１０の天面１０ａがボール部８の側に下り勾配に形成され、この天面１０ａから連ねられて立ち上げられた凸部１１の上端に、水栓１２の取付け孔１１ａが上面開口状に形成され、また凸部１１の内側に、水栓１２の雄ネジ部１２ａ1に螺合させるナット１３の係止部１４が形成され、水栓１２がこの係止部１４を介して水栓取付け部１０にナット１３で固定されることを特徴とする（請求項１）。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の好適な一実施形態を添付図面に従って説明する。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明は、水栓を凸部の上端の取付け孔と凸部の内側のナットの係止部を利用してナットで取付けるものである。従って本発明は、水栓の接合部を水栓取付け部の天面の上方に配置できるから、これによれば水栓取付け部の天面を流れる水が水栓の接合部に水垢を付着させたり、カビを発生させることを防止できる。
また本発明の場合は、係止部によってナットの締付け位置を、凸部の下方の締付け操作が容易な箇所に位置決めできる。
