Description
本発明は、舗装表面に矢印など進路方向、各種ライン、禁止、許可等を示すマーキングを施す方法に関する。より詳しくは、舗装表面にマーキングを施工する方法に於いて、予め準備されたマーキング材料を用いて舗装表面のマーキングと同一の形状に切り取り、舗装表面に形成されたマーキング部分に嵌め込むことを特徴とする舗装表面のマーキング施工方法に関する。 The present invention relates to a method of marking on a pavement surface such as an arrow indicating a course direction, various lines, prohibition, permission and the like. 従来、このような路面標示(以下、マーキングと言う)は、例えば、表面がエンボス層である舗装表面にマーキングを施工する方法では、エンボス層を施工するに際して、予めマーキングの形状に合わせた形の粘着テープ又は粘着シートを準備する。この粘着テープ又は粘着シートを、エンボス層を施工する前の舗装層表面上に貼付し、次いで、舗装の全表面にエンボス層を施工する。その後、マーキングの粘着テープ又は粘着シートをその上のエンボス層と共に引き剥がし、舗装表面上にマーキングの型を形成し、次いで、この型に舗層表面の色と区別できる色のマーキング材料を塗布して、マーキングを形成していた。しかしながら、この従来方法では、例え、マーキングの周辺のエンボス表面をシートやフィルムで被っていても、マーキング材料がマーキングの型からはみ出し、マーキングの周縁部分を綺麗に仕上げることが困難であった。

すなわち、本発明の方法は、
1.表面側に少なくともエンボス層、その上層にトップコート層が積層された弾性舗装を有する競技場のその舗装表面に、文字表示等のマーキングを施工するに際して、前記弾性舗装の表面側を構成する少なくとも前記エンボス層と前記トップコート層との積層体を構成する材料と同一材料により板状のマーキング材料を調製するとともに、その板状のマーキング材料から、文字表示等の前記マーキングと同一の形状を切り取り、これを舗装表面に形成されたマーキング部分に接着剤を介して嵌め込むことを特徴とする舗装表面のマーキング施工方法、
2. 前記接着剤が、マーキング部分周囲の舗装表面の色と同色である請求項1記載のマーキング施工方法、
3. 前記競技場が、陸上競技場、屋内外球技場のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の舗装表面のマーキング施工方法、
である。

すなわち、ポリプロピレンやポリエチレン等の樹脂板上に、通常、マーキングしようとする舗装層の表面層と同種の材料をマーキング材料とし、例えば、弾性舗装で表面層としてエンボス層、ついでトップコート層を施す舗装表面では、樹脂板上にエンボス層、その上にトップコート層を積層した板状のマーキング材料を準備する。
しかし、マーキング材料は、上記に限らずマーキングの目的に応じ、舗装層の表面層と異なる材料を用いてもよい。また、マーキング材料の色は、一般的には、マーキングを施す舗装層表面の色と区別でき、かつ所望の異なる色が望ましい。

なお、以下の説明に於いて、アスコン層、弾性舗装層、エンボス層及びトップコート層を順次積層してなるものを舗装層と言い、この舗装層の表面を舗装表面と言う。また、アスコン層の上に打設される層を弾性舗装層と言う。
弾性舗装の施工において、舗装表面にマーキングを施すことが決められている場合、少なくとも一方の面が粘着面である粘着シート又は粘着テープをマーキングの形状に合わせて切り取り準備する。少なくとも一方の面が粘着面である粘着シート又は粘着テープとは、シート又はテープの一方の面が粘着性の層を必ず有し、他方の面が剥離性の層又は粘着性の層のいずれであってもよい層を有するものであり、例えば、ガムテープとして知られる粘着テープが挙げられる。

粘着シート又は粘着テープは、これらの層が硬化直前又は直後に、綺麗に引き剥がすことが可能であり、舗装表面上にマーキングの部分が形成される。
なお、舗装表面にマーキングの部分を形成する方法は、この方法に限らず、適切な器具を用いて切り取る方法でもよい。

マーキング材料の原料としては、エンボス層とトップコート層からなるものは、例えば、ポリプロピレンやポリエチレン等の樹脂板の上に、施工の目的に合わせて選ばれた公知原料を舗装施工と同様にエンボス層、更にその上にトップコート層を塗布して調製する。マーキング材料は、マーキングの施工現場で施工時に調製しても、或いは、予め工場で調製して平らな板状として積重ねて搬送しても、又、柔軟性に富むマーキング材料である場合は、巻き取って施工現場に運ぶこともできる。
しかしなから、マーキング材料は、エンボス層とトップコート層に限らず、弾性舗装層のような他の層を含んで形成されるものであってもよい。

しかしながら、接着剤の色は、マーキングの周縁部を綺麗に仕上げるためには、マーキング部周囲の舗装表面の色に合わせたものが好ましい。好ましい接着剤として、周囲のエンボス層と同色且つ同一の材料を用いることもできる。
