Description
しかしながら、水素タンクライナーとして、アルミ等の金属を用いた場合には、ガスバリア性には優れるが、水素吸収し、低温化で脆性破壊を起こす問題があった。また、高密度ポリエチレンを用いた場合には、比較的分子量の大きい天然ガスなどに対しては気密性を発揮するが、分子量の小さい水素に対してはガスバリア性が劣るという問題があった。
ところで、水素タンクライナーに使用過程で強い衝撃が加わった場合に割れ等が発生するとガス漏れを誘発するので、水素タンクライナー用材料には耐衝撃性が要求されるが、ポリアミド樹脂に耐衝撃材を配合することで耐衝撃性の改善が図られていた。
しかしながら、走行距離を長くする目的で水素タンクの内圧が70MPaの高圧のものになると、高速走行時に水素タンクがかなりの低温になるため、−40℃以下の極低温でも優れた耐衝撃性を有することが要求されている。
すなわち、本発明は、(A)ポリアミド6、(B)共重合ポリアミド、および(C)耐衝撃材を含むポリアミド樹脂組成物からなることを特徴とする水素タンクライナー用材料に関するものである。
(B)共重合ポリアミドの配合量はポリアミド樹脂組成物全体に対して、5〜30重量%が好ましい。配合量が5重量%以上の場合に耐衝撃性の向上が顕著であり、配合量が30重量%以下で剛性の向上及び結晶化速度が速くなり成形加工性が良くなるので好ましい。
また、1,4−ペンタジエン、1,4−ヘキサジエン、1,5−ヘキサジエン、1,4−オクタジエン、1,5−オクタジエン、1,6−オクタジエン、1,7−オクタジエン、2−メチル−1,5−ヘキサジエン、6−メチル−1,5−ヘプタジエン、7−メチル−1,6−オクタジエン、4−エチリデン−8−メチル−1,7−ノナジエン、4,8−ジメチル−1,4,8−デカトリエン(DMDT)、ジシクロペンタジエン、シクロヘキサジエン、シクロオクタジエン、5−ビニルノルボルネン、5−エチリデン−2−ノルボルネン、5−メチレン−2−ノルボルネン、5−イソプロピリデン−2−ノルボルネン、6−クロロメチル−5−イソプロペンル−2−ノルボルネン、2,3−ジイソプロピリデン−5−ノルボルネン、2−エチリデン−3−イソプロピリデン−5−ノルボルネン、2−プロペニル−2,5−ノルボルナジエン等の非共役ジエンのポリエンを共重合してもよい。これらは1種又は2種以上を用いることができる。
特に、本発明の水素タンクライナー用材料は、単層で十分な低温耐衝撃性及びガスバリア性を有するので、単層射出成形により水素タンクライナーを容易に製造することができる。ここで単層とは、単一の可塑化装置で溶融された樹脂組成物をキャビティに充填して得られる成形品層を言う。また、射出成形とは金型キャビティに溶融樹脂を加圧状態で注入し、金型内で固化させて成形品を得るもの全てを指し、通常の射出成形に加え例えば射出圧縮成形も含む。
また、他方の部品をレーザー吸収性とする代わりに、表面にレーザー吸収性の塗料を塗布してもよい。さらに、2つの部品の間にレーザー吸収性の樹脂を挟んだ状態でレーザー溶着することもできる。
さらに、2つの部品を同色の着色剤で着色することにより、同色同士の樹脂を接合することができるようになり、接合された樹脂部材の見た目をよくすることができる。
なお、実施例および比較例において使用した樹脂及び成形品の物性測定方法を以下に示す。温度については常温及び試験可能な最低温度で実施した。
(1)引張強さ及び破断点伸び:ASTMD638に従い、常温(23℃)、−40℃で厚み3.2mmの試験片を用いて試験を行った。
また、JIS K 7161に従い、−80℃で厚み4mmのJIS K 7162 1A型引張試験片を用いて試験を行った。
(2)曲げ強さ及び曲げ弾性率:ASTMD790に従い、常温で厚み6.4mmの短冊状試験片を用いて3点曲げ試験を行った。
(3)アイゾット衝撃強さ:ASTMD256に従い、厚み6.4mmの短冊状試験片を用いて後加工でノッチをつけて常温(23℃)、−40℃及び−75℃でアイゾット衝撃試験装置にて評価した。
(4)Heガス透過率:理化精機工業(株)製非定常透過計測システムを用いて、以下の試験方法で測定した。
評価試験サンプルサイズ:47mmΦ(T−ダイフィルム成形機で50μmの成形したもの)
セル温度 : 30℃
評価ガス : 純ヘリウム(99.99995%)
供給圧 : 1.0kgf/cm2
(5)レーザー透過率:パワーエネルギーアナライザー(コヒレント・ジャパン社製 FieldMaster(登録商標)GS LM−45)を用いて、ASTM1号ダンベルの形状に成形したものについて測定した。
PA6:ポリアミド6(宇部興産(株)製 SF1018A:96%硫酸に対する相対粘度=2.98)
PA66:ポリアミド66(宇部興産(株)製 2020:96%硫酸に対する相対粘度=2.75)
PA6/66:ポリアミド6/66樹脂(宇部興産(株)製 5034B:96%硫酸に対する相対粘度=4.05)
・耐衝撃材
EBR:無水マレイン酸変性EBR(三井化学(株)製 タフマーMH5020:密度ρ=0.86)
表1に記載したポリアミド樹脂および耐衝撃材をドライブレンドした後、TEX−44二軸混練機で溶融混練し、目的とするポリアミド樹脂組成物ペレットを作成した。
次に得られたペレットをシリンダー温度280℃、金型温度80℃で射出成形し、各種試験片を製造し、物性を評価した。得られた結果を表1に示す。
実施例1の配合を用いて、水素タンクライナーを射出成形した。得られた水素タンクライナーは、ガスバリア性に優れていた。
Claims (6)
- (A)ポリアミド6、(B)ポリアミド6/66、および(C)無水マレイン酸変性EBRを含むポリアミド樹脂組成物からなることを特徴とする水素タンクライナー用材料。
- ポリアミド樹脂組成物全体に対して、(A)ポリアミド6が85〜40重量%、(B)ポリアミド6/66が5〜30重量%、(C)無水マレイン酸変性EBRが10〜30重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水素タンクライナー用材料。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の水素タンクライナー用材料を成形してなる水素タンクライナー。
- 単層射出成形によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の水素タンクライナー。
- 成形品を構成する2つ以上の分割体を単層射出成形によって形成し、これらを相互に接合することによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の水素タンクライナー。
- 成形品を構成する2つ以上の分割体を単層射出成形によって形成し、これらを相互にレーザー溶着により接合することによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の水素タンクライナー。
