4)焼成によって容易に分解・焼失し得る熱分解特性を有していること、
が挙げられる。
1)導電成分(A)および/または(B)と前記気孔形成剤を所定比率で配合し湿式混合もしくは乾式混合することによって、導電成分(A)および/または(B)を気孔形成剤表面に均一に付着させる方法、
2)気孔形成剤を導電成分(A)および/または(B)の表面に均一に付着させる方法、
3)気孔形成剤の細孔や隙間に導電成分(A)および/または(B)を含有させておく方法、
などの方法で、導電成分(A)および/または(B)含有気孔形成剤を作製しておき、これを骨格成分(C)などと配合してスラリーの調製、シート成形および加熱焼成を順次行うことが望ましい。
(架橋重合体微粒子の製造例)
攪拌機、温度計および還流冷却器付きの3リットル容量のセパラブルフラスコに、純水650gとアニオン界面活性剤(第一工業製薬製、商品名「ハイテノールN08」)1.4gとを仕込み、窒素置換しながら、攪拌下に70℃まで昇温した。
上記で得たエマルション[A]を、スプレードライヤー(ヤマト科学製)により下記の条件で乾燥し、レーザー回折粒度分布計(島津製作所社製商品名「SALD−1100」)で測定した平均粒子径が33μm、比表面積が13m2/g、嵩比重が0.4g/mlのPMMA系架橋重合体微粒子集合体粉体[B]を得た。

前述のようにして得た架橋重合体微粒子のエマルション[A]に、バインダーとしてオキサゾリン基含有ポリマー(日本触媒社製、商品名「エポクロスK2020E」)を、上記エマルションの固形分に対し10質量%の割合で添加、混合して分散液を得た。この分散液に、導電成分前駆体化合物として酢酸ニッケル水溶液を加えた混合エマルションを、同様のスプレードライヤー条件で乾燥し、酢酸ニッケルが内部に配合された粉状の架橋重合体微粒子集合体を得た。
前記実施例1で得た導電成分含有気孔形成剤粉末を酸化ニッケル換算で11質量部、酸化ニッケル粉末40質量部とイットリアドープセリア粉末20質量部が予備混合された混合粉末59質量部、3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア粉末30質量部の合計100質量部を用いた以外は、前記実施例1と同様にしてイットリアドープセリア/酸化ニッケル/3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア(20/50/30質量%)からなる直径34mm、厚さ0.4mmの円形の燃料電池用アノード支持基板を得た。
平均粒子径が12μmの前記PMMA系架橋重合体微粒子集合体[B]200gと、導電成分前駆体化合物として酢酸ニッケル水溶液500gを1リットルのナス型フラスコに入れ、該フラスコをロータリーエバポレータに取り付けて80℃で加温・減圧しながら水を留出させることにより、酢酸ニッケルが架橋性重合体微粒子間の隙間や集合体の気孔内に配合された導電成分配合気孔形成剤粉末を得た。気孔形成剤に配合された導電成分は酸化ニッケル換算で40質量%であった。
平均粒子径が33μmの前記PMMA系架橋重合体微粒子集合体[B]500gと、導電成分前駆体化合物として塩基性炭酸ニッケル粉末(和光純薬工業社製)2518gとを、直径3mmのジルコニアボールが装入されたボールミルで混合し、架橋重合体微粒子集合体の表面、内部に炭酸ニッケル粉末が配合された導電成分配合気孔形成剤粉末を得た。
酸化ニッケル粉末(キシダ化学社製)85質量部、3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア粉末(第一稀元素化学社製、商品名「HYS−3.0」)15質量部の合計100質量部に、平均粒子径が33μmの前記架橋重合体微粒子集合体[B]35質量部、および、前記実施例1で用いたのと同様のバインダー、溶剤および可塑剤を同量加え、前記実施例1と同様にして酸化ニッケル/3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア(85/15質量%)からなる直径34mm、厚さ0.4mmの円形の燃料電池用アノード支持基板を得た。
イットリアドープセリア粉末70質量部、3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア粉末(第一稀元素化学社製、商品名「HYS−3.0」)30質量部の合計100質量部に、平均粒子径が33μmの前記架橋重合体微粒子集合体[B]、および、前記実施例4で用いたのと同じバインダー、溶剤および可塑剤を同量加え、前記実施例4と同様にしてイットリアドープセリア/3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア(70/30質量%)からなる直径34mm、厚さ0.4mmの円形の燃料電池用アノード支持基板を得た。
1)前記実施例1〜4、比較例1〜2で得た直径34mm、厚さ0.4mmの円形燃料電池用アノード支持基板(供試用基板)1を、図1に示す如く弓形で0.4mm幅の切込みを入れたジルコニア製の保持具2に差し込んで、横置きにした内径40mm×長さ600mmの円筒管3の中央部にセットし、円筒管の中央部を管状電気炉4内に取り付ける。

Claims (4)
- 導電成分と骨格成分とから構成され、気孔率が20〜50%である固体酸化物形燃料電池用アノード支持基板であって、セリア−希土類金属酸化物系固溶体またはセリア−アルカリ土類金属酸化物系固溶体からなる導電成分(A):5〜50質量%(支持基板全量中に占める比率を表す、以下同じ)と、Ni,Fe,Coよりなる群から選ばれる1種以上の金属の酸化物からなる導電成分(B):30〜75質量%とを、(A),(B)の合計で50〜80質量%と、希土類金属酸化物またはアルカリ土類金属酸化物で安定化された酸化ジルコニウムおよび/またはアルミニウムスピネル複合酸化物からなる骨格成分(C):20〜50質量%とを含むことを特徴とする固体酸化物形燃料電池用アノード支持基板。
- 上記導電成分(A)における希土類金属酸化物が、Y,La,Pr,Sm,Gdよりなる群から選択される1種以上の金属の酸化物であり、アルカリ土類金属酸化物がCa,Srから選ばれる1種以上の金属の酸化物である請求項1に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池用アノード支持基板。
- 前記請求項1または2に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池用アノード支持基板を製造する方法であって、導電成分(A)となるセリア−希土類金属酸化物系固溶体またはセリア−アルカリ土類金属酸化物系固溶体からなる粉末:5〜50質量%と、導電成分(B)となるNi,Fe,Coよりなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の金属の酸化物からなる粉末:30〜75質量%とを、(A),(B)の合計で50〜80質量%と、骨格成分(C)となる希土類金属酸化物またはアルカリ土類金属酸化物で安定化された酸化ジルコニウムおよび/またはアルミニウムスピネル複合酸化物からなる粉末:20〜50質量%とを含む原料粉末を用いてシート成形することを特徴とする固体酸化物形燃料電池用アノード支持基板の製法。
- 前記導電成分(A)および/または(B)を気孔形成剤に含有せしめた混合粉末と骨格成分(C)の粉末とを含む混合スラリーを、シート状に成形してから焼成し、気孔形成剤を分解焼失させる前記請求項3に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池用アノード支持基板の製法。
