Claims (3)
- 円偏光の眼底照明光によって眼底を照明する照明光学系と、前記眼底照明光によって眼底から反射された照明反射光の偏光特性に基づいて眼底像を撮影する撮像光学系と、前記撮像光学系からの信号出力を処理する映像信号処理手段とを備え、前記撮像光学系は前記照明反射光の位相状態をそれぞれ変化させるためにその進相軸が互いに異ならされた4つ以上の微小位相板のかたまりからなる単位構成板が縦横のマトリックス状に配列された位相板アレイと、該位相板アレイを通過した照明反射光を所定の偏光方向に偏光させる1枚の偏光子と、該偏光子を通過して偏光方向が一つに揃えられた照明反射光を受光しかつ前記単位構成板にそれぞれ対応する4つ以上の画素のかたまりからなる単位ユニットが縦横のマトリックス状に配列された撮像素子とを備え、前記映像信号処理手段は前記各単位ユニットに前記1枚の偏光子を介して偏光方向が揃えられた照明反射光の強度に基づいて前記眼底からの照明反射光のストークスパラメータを算出しかつ該ストークスパラメータの算出結果に基づき照明反射光の強度に対する部分偏光の偏光成分の強度比を求めて、この比を用いて補正することにより前記眼底の視神経繊維束の厚さを求めることを特徴とする眼底検査装置。
- 前記4つの微小位相板の各進相軸の前記偏光子の偏光方向に対する角度が、それぞれ4つの異なる角度α0、α1、α2、α3を構成し、4つの異なる角度α0、α1、α2、α3がそれぞれ−51.7度、−15.1度、+15.1度、+51.7度又は−74.9度、−38.3度、+38.3度、+74.9度であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の眼底検査装置。
- 前記微小位相板のリターデーションδが131.8度であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の眼底検査装置。
